   Die idealste Füllung für Absorptions-und Reaktionstürme ist diejenige. die für ein   Maximum   an freiem Raum ein Maximum an   wirksamer Oberfläche bietet. Demnach   ist die beste Füllung eine solche, die aus lauter ausserordentlich   dünnwandigen   in der Richtung des Gasstromes angeordneten Flächen besteht. Der praktischen   Ausführung   solcher idealen Turmfiillungen stand aber bisher die geringe Bruchfestigkeit derartiger dünnwandiger Flächen entgegen. Die vorliegende Erfindung hat. nun den Zweck, die technische   Verwendung sehr dünnwandiger Flächen
