Silicium ein kleiner,   18%   nicht übersteigender Zusatz von Metallen,   z. B. Eisen, Nickel, Rupier,   Magnesium und dgl. beigefügt wird, wodurch das zu rasche Erkalten und plötzliche Zusammen,ziehen des schmelzflüssigen Gegenstandes hintangehalten wird.
