Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist eine Zinklegierung, welche ausser den bekannten und gebräuchlichen Zusätzen von Kupfer und Aluminium noch einen Zusatz von

Sowohl der Zusatz von Eisen als auch von Zinn allein ist bekannt (vgl. die amerikanischen Patentschriften Nr. 1002190 und Nr. 591604). Durch den gleichzeitigen Zusatz der beiden angegebenen Metalle wird nun erfahrungsgemäss eine beträchtlich grössere Festigkeit und Härte erzielt, welche die Legierung als Ersatz für Schwermetalle mit hohem Kupfergehalt tauglich erscheinen lassen.
Als Beispiel einer Legierung gemäss der Erfindung sei folgende Zusammensetzung angegeben :
