Description
<Desc/Clms Page number 1>

Process for the manufacture of a detergent for the fermentation industry.
EMI1.1
of significantly increased effectiveness produced by increasing the effective chlorine content of the lye by removing water. To do this, the following procedure is used, for example:
A lye of the usual weak concentration is mixed with an appropriate amount of calcined soda or dehydrated sodium sulphate, left to stand for about two to three days and then thoroughly centrifuged off. The soda or sodium sulphate absorbs part of the water contained in the lye, so that a higher percentage lye remains after spinning off.
This treatment of the lye is repeated several times until the length has the desired content of effective chlorine. In this way, it is possible to obtain lye in the liter
150 to 200 g of effective chlorine and about 70 9 soda or sodium sulfate.
The centrifuged crystal soda or sodium sulfate can be recovered for the process by calcining again.
