Bei dem Gebrauche der Getreidereinigungs- und Schälmaschine nach Patent Nr. 59052 hat sich gezeigt, dass an den Stellen, an welchen die Schraubenflächen mit der Achse

einen so grossen Teil des Raumes zwischen Achse und Schraubenfläche ausfüllen, dass die Schleifwirkung der Maschine stark verringert wird. Da überdies infolge der gleichen Ursache das Putzen der Maschine umständlich ist, wurden in der Anordnung der einzelnen Teile einige Änderungon vorgenommen, welche diesen Nachteil beseitigen. Während die Erzeugenden der Schraubenflächen bei der Einrichtung nach dem Stammpatente nach aussen und aufwärts gerichtet waren, sind diese gemäss der Erfindung nach aussen und abwärts gerichtet, wodurch ein Festsetzen des Staubes verhindert wird.
Die Oberflächen der Schälflächen F und die Innenflächen des Schälmantels M sind mit Schmirgelbelag versehen. Um eine bessere Schleifwirkung zu erzielen, können die unteren Ränder der Schraubenflächen nach aufwärts gebogen (Fig. 2) oder die Flächen nach innen durchgebogen sein (Fig. 3). Das Getreide gelangt durch die Gosse G, welche besser von der Windleitung gesondert ist, über eine schräge Siebfläche auf einen kegelförmigen Boden, der am Orte des Einlaufes vom Winde durchströmt wird, in den unteren Teil dos Schälzylinders, wird dasell) st von den Schraubenflächen erfasst und in bekannter Weise, immer höher steigend, zu der mit einer Klappe K versehenen Ausflussöffnung A transportiert.
