Kuppelhaken.
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Kuppelhaken, wie solche hauptsächlich zur Kupplung von Grubenwagen Anwendung finden. Diese Grubenwagen haben an jener Stirnseite eine Öse. Zwei zusammonzukuppelnde Wagen wurden dadurch verbunden, dass man ein Kupplungsstück, welches zwei je nach einer Seite auslassende Haken hat, in die Ösen der

sprangen. Ein-oder mehrere Wagen lösten sich vom Zuge, wodurch mehr oder weniger schwere Unfälle eintraten. Diesem Übelstand hat der Erfinder in der praktischsten Weise abgeholfen und soll diese Neuerung nachstehend an Hand der beigegebenen Zeichnung beschrieben werden.
In dieser Zeichnung stellen dar : Fig. l den Kuppelhaken allein in genauer Ansicht von vorne, Fig. 2 den in die Ösen eingehängten Iiuppelhaken von unten mit veranschaulichter Lage der Wagenösen.
Die Neuerung besteht in einer zweckentsprechenden Formgebung, hauptsächlich in bezug auf die Hakenöffnung. Während bei den bisher üblichen Kuppelhaken diese Öffnungen gerade, also rechtwinkelig zur Aussenfläche nach hinten gingen, verlaufen diese bei der vorliegenden Erfindung schräg. Das Mittelstück a ist also so ausgebildet, dass die Linie b in stumpfem Winkel von der Vorderfläche c abgeht und auf die Hinterfläche @ im spitzen Winkel aufstösst. Bei dem Gegenhaken ist es umgekehrt, so dass der Unterteil von a wechselweise vorne oder hinten spitz zuläuft. Die Hakennasen c sind in gleicher Weise ausgebildet, so dass die Linien f parallel zu den schrägen Kanten des Mittelstückes verlaufen.
Die überstehende Spitze des Mittelteiles steht also gegenüber der zurücktretenden Stelle der Hakennase und umgekehrt. Die Breite der schräg verlaufenden oeffnungen dieser Kuppelhaken ist so bemessen, dass die Wagenösen mit geringem Spielraum hindurch geführt werden können. The innovation consists in an appropriate shape, mainly with regard to the hook opening. While in the coupling hooks customary up to now these openings went straight backwards, that is to say at right angles to the outer surface, in the present invention they run obliquely. The center piece a is thus designed in such a way that the line b goes off at an obtuse angle from the front surface c and meets the rear surface @ at an acute angle. In the case of the counter hook, it is the other way round, so that the lower part of a tapers alternately at the front or at the back. The hook lugs c are designed in the same way, so that the lines f run parallel to the inclined edges of the middle piece.
The protruding tip of the middle part is opposite the receding point of the hook nose and vice versa. The width of the inclined openings of these coupling hooks is dimensioned so that the carriage eyes can be passed through with little clearance. These wagon eyes hang at right angles in the company
