Sorter for the wood, papler and Ze! oil fabrication.
The invention relates to sorters for wood, paper and Zel1stoftabrikation with a screen drum through which the fabric runs from the outside to the inside, rotatably arranged in a fabric container and with an inner agitator of polygonal cross-section. As is known, this stirring element has the purpose of freeing the sieve drum from attached knots, fibers and the like.
According to the invention, radial or approximately radial boards are arranged within the sieve drum in the space between the sieve drum shell and the agitator element in such a way that they do not participate in the rotation of the sieve drum, whereby the effect of the po) ygonal agitator body is increased.
To clarify the invention, two embodiments of a sorter designed according to the invention are shown schematically in cross section in the drawing.
1 designates the rotatably arranged sieve drum, 2 denotes the material container in which the sieve drum 1 is rotatably disposed, 3 the stirring device which is disposed on a rotatable shaft 5. This shaft 5 coincides with the axis of the sieve drum according to FIG. 2; according to 'Fig. 1 is the shaft 5 under the sieve drum axis, i. H. eccentric to the same, arranged. 4 designates the spray tube arranged in the sieve drum 1 in a known manner. The stirring device 3 consists of a body or a drum which has a polygonal shape in cross section, for example, as in FIG. 1, the shape of a pentagon with rounded corners or, as in FIG. 2, the shape of a triangle with rounded corners or any other polygonal shape Shape, whereby the sides can be either straight or slightly curved inwards or outwards.
In order to increase the effect of the agitator 3 or to enable the use of a agitator with a smaller cross-section in comparison with the cross-section of the sieve drum 1, whereby the power consumption is reduced, a number of longitudinal, fixed radial or approximately radial boards 6 are provided, which extend from the jacket of the sieve drum against the agitator 3, so that the space in the sieve drum on the periphery of the same is divided into a corresponding number of departments or cells in which the effects of the movement of the agitator 3 are better asserted than when the space would not be divided between the agitator 3 and the sieve drum 1, in that the liquid is thereby prevented from participating in the rotation of the sieve drum.
The number of boards 6 can be arbitrary. According to FIG. 2, six such boards are arranged, but according to FIG. 1 only two, which are attached to one end wall of the container 2. The stirrer 3 can rotate in the same direction as the sieve drum 1, at a greater speed of rotation, or in the opposite direction; the
However, the agitator can also be rotated alternately in one direction or the other.
