Automatic release inhibition for lifting devices, which can be released by hand.
The invention relates to an improvement in automatically acting frictional inhibitions for lifting equipment. In the drawing, an embodiment is shown, specifically Fig. 1 shows a winch provided with this device in vertical section, whereas Fig. 2 shows a side view and Fig. 3 shows a horizontal section.
The device consists of a stationary screw surface a, in which the clamping piece b, which is also provided with a corresponding screw surface, engages.
EMI1.1
bar drive part c firmly connected disc d and is loaded by the spring l in the direction of rotation, which causes its rise on the fixed screw and thus pressing against the friction table d. The drive parts are arranged in such a way that the load to be lifted tries to turn the disk d in the same direction of rotation as the spring f the clamping piece b, i.e. i. the direction of rotation that corresponds to the engagement of the escapement.
When the winch is loaded, the load tends to rotate the drive axis c in the direction of the arrow, so that the friction between d and b supports the effect of the spring f and the clamping piece b is rotated a little in the direction of the arrow until as a result the rise of the clamping piece b on the fixed screw surface and the resulting side pressure, the friction between d and b and at h has become so great that it cancels the torque caused by the load effect and thus holds the load.
If, on the other hand, the drive shaft c is rotated from the square e by means of a crank or a ratchet lever in the opposite direction to the arrow, the friction between b and d now counteracts the spring action, whereby the clamping piece b is carried along in the direction of rotation that releases the inhibition until it slides occurs between b and d, the load being lifted and, after releasing the drive shaft, again automatically held in the manner described earlier at any desired height.
By means of the handle g, the clamp piece b can be turned by hand against the direction of the arrow, whereby the friction between b and d is reduced so that the load can be reduced while maintaining any braking friction.
