Auf der Klinkenwelle 1 ist einerseits der die
Sperrklinke 2 für das Bremsfedergehäuse tragende
Hebel 3'befestigt und sind anderseits zwei um 1800 gegeneinander versetzte Exzenter- scheiben 3, 4 angeordnet, welche von den
Schleifen 5, 6 der nach entgegengesetzten Seiten abgehenden Teile des Zugseiles umfasst sind.
Bei gespanntem Zugseil nehmen die Exzenterscheiben 3, 4 eine solche Lage ein, dass sie auf der Seite ihrer kleinsten Radien 8 von den Zugseilschleifen umfasst sind. Wird dagegen das Zugseil locker oder infolge eines Risses spannunglos, so können sich die Scheiben innerhalb der Schleifen frei bewegen und kann die Klinke 2 durch den vom Federgehäuse auf sie ausgeübten Umfangsdruck aus der Verzahnung des Gehäuses gelöst werden.
Infolge der Entsperrung bewirkt dann die Bremsfeder durch Verdrehung der Schraubenspindel der Bremse die Anpressung der Bremsbacken an das Tragseil.
