Selbstiadegewehr mit Laufbekleidung aus Überrohr und Schaft.
Die Erfindung betrifft eine neue Anordnung einer Laufbekleidung aus Überrohr und Schaft, deren Wesen darin besteht, dass an Stelle des sonst den Lauf ganz umgebenden Holzschaftes das wellenförmige Überrohr den Lauf schütz zu übernehmen hat. Dementsprechend ist das starkwandig ausgebildete Überroll auf den grösseren Teil der Länge frei von dem entsprechend verkürzten Holzschaft gelagert, wodurch eine schädliche Beeinflussung des Laufes durch den Schaft, insbesondere beim Dauerschiessen, wobei der Schaft infolge Erhitzung sich zu verziehen pflegt, vermieden und überhaupt eine bessere Wärmeausstrahlung bei vollem Laufschutz ermöglicht, also der Lauf kühler gehalten wird als dies früher erreichbar war.
In der Zeichnung ist die gemäss der Erfindung getroffene Anordnung in einer beispielsweisen Ausiührungsform dargestellt, und zwar zeigt : Fig. 1 den Lauf mit seiner Bekleidung

Es liegt auf dem grösseren Teil seiner Länge frei, wodurch sich zugleich, wie erwähnt, eine bessere Wärmeableitung gegenüber der früheren Anordnung, bei welcher der Schaft bis zum Laufende reichte, ergibt. Korn k und Visier v sind fest mit dem Cberrohr verbunden, das Cberrohr liegt an seinem vorderen Ende frei ausdehnbar um den Schaft und ist nur an seinem hinteren Ende dadurch gehalten, dass der fest mit ihm (z. B. durch Um- oder Einbördelung) verbundene Visierfuss v'auf dem Lauf festgeschraubt ist. Der Schaftstummel s und das zugehörige Schutzholz s' sind in ihrem vorderen Teil dem Rillenquerschnitt entsprechend ausgekehlt, so dass eine dichte Anlage zwischen Holz und Überrohr erzielt wird.
Das Laufende selbst ist in dem hinteren Teil mit genügender Luft, im Schaft gelagert, um eine Strömung und Ableitung der Wärme zu ermöglichen.
Diese Laufbekleidung hat sich bei den Dauerversuchen vorzüglich bewährt. Sie ermöglicht das Anfassen des Laufes selbst noch nach einer grossen Anzahl von Schüssen und schützt den Lauf ebenso wirksam als der den Lauf ganz umgehende Holzschaft, bei dem infolge des Verziehens des Holzes die Treffsicherheit beim Dauerschiessen sehr beeinträchtigt und zudem noch die gerade im vorderen Teil des Laufes auftretende starke Erhitzung das Anfassen der Waffe nach dem Verfeuern einer grösseren Schusszahl infolge schlechter Wärmeableitung unmöglich war. Zudem wirkt auch der Ladestock t schutzversta. rkend an der Laufunterseite.
