Verbrennungskraftmaschine mit gleichachsig auf dem Maachinenzylinder drehbarem
Steuerzylinder.

Internal combustion engine with coaxially rotatable on the machine cylinder
Control cylinder.
The invention relates to internal combustion engines of the type in which the control cylinder is arranged coaxially with the machine cylinder and is rotatably mounted thereon and is enclosed by a removable housing provided with the inlet and outlet openings for the propellant.
According to the invention, the housing and the cylinder head are not made from one piece, but are detachable, advantageously connected to one another by means of flanges. This makes the production of the individual parts much easier and also offers the possibility of making the inside of the cylinder accessible by removing the head without also having to remove the housing.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is illustrated in the drawing.
The cylinder 1 of the machine contains a plunger piston 2 and is enclosed by a cooling jacket 3. The control cylinder 4, which is enclosed by a cylindrical housing 5 and rests on a flange 20 of the cylinder 1, is arranged on this cooling jacket. At its lower end it has a flange 7 provided with a toothing 6. The ring gear 6 is in engagement with a toothed wheel that is seated on a vertical shaft that is forced to the crankshaft by a bevel gear.
EMI1.1
The housing 5 has a flange 21 with the aid of which it can be fastened to the flanges 22 of the cylinder head 23. If this connection is released, it is possible to remove the cylinder head without also having to remove the housing.
The explosion is brought about by an electrical ignition device of the kind.
The Stromschlol3 takes place through a pin 18 arranged on the flange of the control cylinder, which acts against a quadrant 19 which can be adjusted in a known manner so that the ignitions can be accelerated or delayed.
