   Die Erfindung betrifft eine Anordnung des Zündapparates bei Motoren mit oben liegender Steuerwelle und besteht im wesentlichen darin, dass der   Ztindapparat   oben auf den Motor oder die Verschalung des Motorkopfes aufmontiert ist. Hiedurch wird eine leichte Zugänglichkeit des Zündapparates erreicht und ein erhöhter Schutz des letzteren gegen die durch den Kühler eintretende Feuchtigkeit und gegen Eindringen von Spritzöl gewährleistet. 



   In der Zeichnung ist die Erfindung beispielsweise in Seitenansicht, teilweise im Schnitt dargestellt. 



   In dem Motorgehäuse a ist die Steuerwelle b gelagert, auf welcher ein Triebrad c sitzt, welches auf geeignete Weise von der Kurbelwelle getrieben wird (in der Zeichnung nicht dargestellt). In das Triebrad c greift ein Stirnrad   d ein, welch   letzteres auf der Welle e sitzt. Letztere ist durch eine   Kupplung ! mit   dem Wellenende des Zündapparates g verbunden. Der Zündapparat g ist oben auf dem Motorgehäuse a oder auf der Ver-   schalung   des Motorkopfes angeordnet. Mit A sind die Abschlussdeckel des   Motorgehäuses   a bezeichnet.

   The invention relates to an arrangement of the ignition apparatus in engines with an overhead control shaft and essentially consists in the ignition apparatus being mounted on top of the engine or the casing of the engine head. This makes it easy to access the ignition device and ensures increased protection of the latter against moisture entering through the cooler and against the penetration of spray oil.



   In the drawing, the invention is shown for example in side view, partially in section.



   In the motor housing a, the control shaft b is mounted, on which a drive wheel c sits, which is driven in a suitable manner by the crankshaft (not shown in the drawing). A spur gear d engages in drive wheel c, the latter being seated on shaft e. The latter is through a clutch! connected to the shaft end of the igniter g. The ignition apparatus g is arranged on top of the motor housing a or on the casing of the motor head. The end covers of the motor housing a are designated with A.
