Gemäss der Erfindung wird der Ventilator im Unterteil des Kurbelgehäuses auf einer lotrechten, von der Maschinenwelle unmittelbar angetriebenen Welle angebracht. Diese Anordnung ermöglicht eine einfache und billige Bauart, die sich insbesondere für Flugzugmaschinen eignet.
In der Zeichnung ist eine Zweitakt-Verbrennungskraftmaschine gemäss der Erfindung in einer beispielsweisen Ausführungsform dargestellt.
Die Zweitakt-Verbrennungskraftmaschine besitzt vier Zylinder a. Das Kurbelgehäuse ist unterteilt (b, c) und in seinem Unterteile c ist bei d der zur Erzeugung der Spülluft dienende Hochdruckventilator untergebracht. Dieser sitzt auf einer lotrechten, von der Maschinenwelle mittels der Kegelräder e, f unmittelbar angetriebenen Welle g. Die eingezeichneten Pfeile zeigen die Zuströmungsrichtung der Luft, die aus dem Ventilator mittels geeigneter Rohrleitungen zu den Maschinenzylindern weitergeleitet wird.
