  Double window.

The present invention relates to a double window and consists in the fact that the weather legs of the outer window sash completely overlap the weather legs of the inner window sash for the purpose of preventing dust and water from penetrating between the two sashes.

In the drawing, the subject matter of the invention is shown in an exemplary embodiment, namely FIG. 1 shows the window in longitudinal section and FIG. 2 in cross section.

On the double window in which the outer sash a in a known manner by means of
 EMI1.1
so that rain and condensation cannot penetrate the living area.

The latter circumstance mainly comes into play when the outer window sashes a have been removed, because then the rainwater flows away from the weatherboard and this at the same time projects over the butt joint on the main frame f and undocks.

The closure of the two window sashes is expediently effected by a hand screw designed as a slide in the manner of a bayonet lock.
