   Die Aufarbeitung ist dieselbe wie im Beispiel I. 



   Um zu einem hexabromierten Indigo zu gelangen, arbeitet man unter entsprechender Erhöhung der Brommenge und der Reaktionsdauer nach den angegebenen Beispielen.

PATENT-ANSPRUCH : Verfahren zur Darstellung von penta-und hexahalogenaubstituierten Indigofarbstonen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man, statt überschüssiges Brom zu verwenden, wie in dem Stammpatent Nr. 45879 geschehen ist, hier die für die Penta-bezw. Hexabromindigo berechnete Menge Brom unter Benutzung einer hochkonzentrierten Schwefelsäure von nicht unter 96% bezw. unter Benutzung von Monohydrat oder schwach rauchender Säure anwendet.
