    Imprägnierflüssigkeit   zum Imprägnieren von Holz. 



   Im Patente Nr. 32265 ist ein Verfahren zum Imprägnieren von Holz, insbesondere von Eisenbahnschwellen beschrieben, bei welchem das zu behandelnde Holz sowohl im heissen Ölbade, wie auch nach dem Ablassen des Öles dem Vakuum ausgesetzt wird, worauf das kalte Imprägnieröl in bekannter Weise in das Holz eingepresst wird. 



   Zur Ausführung dieses Verfahrens wird eine Imprägnierflüssigkeit verwendet, welche aus einem 40 bis   70 % Kreosot   enthaltenden Holzteeröl und neutralem Mineralöl. das ist das bei der Rohpetroleumdestillation als Nebenprodukt gewonnene sogenannte Blauöl, besteht. 



   Der eine Teil dieses Gemisches, das Holzteeröl, ist schwer zu beschaffen ; dasselbe ist sehr kostspielig und kann in einzelnen Gegenden überhaupt nicht erhalten werden. 



  Aus diesem (irunde haben Erfinder Versuche angestellt, um einen Ersatz für das kostspielige   Holzteeröl zu   finden und haben festgestellt, dass es durch Steinkohlenteeröl, welches billiger und leichtor zu beschaffen ist,   vorzüglich   ersetzt werden kann. 



   Vorliegende Erfindung betrifft also eine weitere Ausbildung des im Patent Nr.   32265   beschriebenen Verfahrens, welche darin besteht, dass in der Imprägnierungsflüssigkeit das   Hotzteerol     durch Steinkohlenteeröl   ersetzt wird. 



     Selbstverständlich kann   das   Stoinkohlenteeröl   bei dem im Zusatzpatent Nr. 33751 beschriebenen Verfahren ebenfalls vorteilhaft angewendet werden.

   Patent No. 32265 describes a process for impregnating wood, in particular railway sleepers, in which the wood to be treated is exposed to a vacuum both in the hot oil bath and after the oil has been drained, whereupon the cold impregnating oil is poured into the Wood is pressed in.



   To carry out this process, an impregnation liquid is used which is made from a wood tar oil containing 40 to 70% creosote and neutral mineral oil. this is the so-called blue oil obtained as a by-product in crude petroleum distillation.



   One part of this mixture, wood tar oil, is difficult to obtain; it is very expensive and cannot be obtained at all in some areas.



  For this reason, inventors have made attempts to find a replacement for the expensive wood tar oil and have found that it can be excellently replaced by coal tar oil, which is cheaper and easier to obtain.



   The present invention thus relates to a further embodiment of the method described in patent no. 32265, which consists in replacing the hot tar oil in the impregnation liquid with coal tar oil.



     Of course, coal tar oil can also be used to advantage in the process described in additional patent no. 33751.
