Lamp for illuminating body cavities.
The subject matter of the present invention is a lamp, the light of which is reflected through a mirror provided with an elongated open cutout and guided into body cavities such as the windpipe, esophagus, rectum, etc. by means of tubes attached to the handle.
In the figure, FIG. 1 shows a side view of the complete instrument
EMI1.1
Surface view of the mirror.
In Figure 1, a is the handle, b the tube support, c the tube, d the electric light bulb, e the switch for the electric current, f the converging lens, g the mirror

can be. The mirror support (Figure 2) is cut out at m1, m2, m3, as is the mirror (Figure 3) at, n Mg. This is what makes this instrument so special.
Similar lighting lamps with simply perforated mirrors have been known for a long time.
In contrast to these, the new mirror has an open, elongated cutout.
This ensures that instruments such as probes, foreign body tongs, cotton swabs, etc., can easily be inserted and removed from the tube c without significant loss of light, even if they are longer than the distance from the mirror carrier to the end of the tube.
