<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
gehalten.
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>
1 sicher in
<Desc/Clms Page number 5>

Actuating arrangement for parts on vehicles which can be pivoted about an axis of rotation, in particular for doors, with at least one common component which is coupled to the pivotable part
Working cylinder arrangement for both swivel directions, a working fluid system supplying the working cylinder arrangement with supply lines to each working space of the working cylinder arrangement, which supply lines also connect the working cylinder arrangement in a lockable manner to the reservoir for the working medium, and one on the working fluid System acting control circuit, wherein in the working fluid system at least one connecting line with a switching valve completely releasing or blocking this connecting line between the working spaces of the working cylinder arrangement acting in the opposite direction and one
Bias valve are provided.
Many different arrangements have been proposed for actuating, for example, tailgates, convertible tops and vehicle doors, in which the pivotable
Attack part of the working cylinder, preferably a linear hydraulic working cylinder, which is supported on the vehicle with its other end. Even parallel cylinders, i. H. Cylinders in which the volumes of the working spaces on both sides of the piston are the same are in
Use. A hydraulic unit, controlled by a simple on-off switch or more complicated electronic control units, alternately supplies the work spaces of the or each working cylinder with the working medium, thus causing the swiveling part to move automatically.
Furthermore, it has already been proposed that sensors monitor the movement of the pivotable part, which can be implemented, for example, using linear displacement sensors on the working cylinder, rotary sensors on the rotary axis or pressure sensors in the system of the working fluid. Not only can the reaching of the end position be signaled and the hydraulic unit can be controlled accordingly, but also an anti-trap protection or a collision protection can be implemented during the normally unimpeded swiveling movement.
Finally, the kinematics of the articulation of the pivotable component, which influences the forces acting on the component and to be overcome by the actuating arrangement, can also be taken into account by further complex electronic and fluidic switching of the actuation arrangement. Preload valves, for example, have been proposed for this purpose, which limit the maximum system pressure during the automatic actuation of the moving vehicle part and also offer a holding function in the event of failure or intentional stopping of the hydraulic system. Finally, emergency operations could also be implemented, so that if the
Power supply the pivotable part can be moved manually.
However, different circuits had to be constructed for each of these functions, and it was previously not possible to combine all the functions mentioned in a simply constructed and economically manageable system that is so flexible that any other functions can be carried out without changing the fluidic connection are. In addition, in certain cases there can be a higher kinetic energy of the actuated vehicle part than corresponds to the design of the preload valve, for example in the case of vehicle doors or flaps with a pulling load due to the vehicle being tilted.
If the stop function is initiated here, i. H. If the supply of working medium is also stopped, for example by stopping the pump, the preload valve can be suppressed and thus opened due to the increased kinetic energy, so that the vehicle part continues to move in the original sense. In addition, since in most applications the preload valves are designed in two stages - with a lower second pressure stage - the back pressure drops further and the vehicle part can no longer be stopped in its movement.
DE 43 34 843 A1 discloses a system in which a common working cylinder arrangement coupled to the pivotable part for both pivoting directions and in addition to a working fluid system supplying this working cylinder arrangement with supply lines to each work area also a connecting line into which a this connecting line completely releasing or blocking switching valve is provided between the working spaces acting in the opposite direction, as is a preload valve for pressure limitation.
The switching behavior of the valve is determined by the hydraulic conditions in the system and cannot be actively influenced from the outside. The preload valve is arranged separately from the switching valve.
The object of the present invention is therefore an actuation arrangement at the beginning
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
specified type, in which with a single, simply constructed and with a small
Number of complex and expensive components ensures a safe stop and hold function, regardless of the type of preload valves used. Any combination of automatic actuation, auxiliary power-assisted manual actuation, purely manual
Actuation - even in the event of a power failure of the automatic actuation arrangement - as well as protective functions such as pinch protection and holding function in any current position
Power failure can be realized.
To accomplish this task in its simplest form, it is provided according to the basic concept of the present invention that the switching valve is designed as an active valve which can be switched independently of the hydraulic system and is connected in series with a preload valve. By setting the preload valve to a certain maximum pressure, which is determined by the forces required to actuate the vehicle part, alternatively supplying the opposing working spaces of the working cylinder arrangement, regardless of whether this is done by opposing single-acting cylinders or a double-acting cylinder is realized, the automatic actuation of the pivotable part on the vehicle can be effected.
The preload valve blocks the direct connection between the opposing ones
Working spaces of the working cylinder arrangement in at least one direction. If the movement of the vehicle part is to be stopped in this direction, in addition to switching off the hydraulic supply, the switching valve is brought into the blocking position and thus the connection between the opposing working spaces is securely blocked, so that despite any
Possibility of overpressing the preload valve it is not possible to push the working medium between the opposing working spaces. The working medium cannot flow into the reservoir due to the blocked connecting lines, so that the vehicle part, such as a door or flap, is securely held in the current position.
The switching valve can then be returned to the open position so that manual actuation - by overpressing the preload valve - is made possible. All mentioned switching functions of the switching valve can also be implemented by a program in the control unit of the hydraulic system, which program u. a. also queries operating elements via which the user can enter the desired functions and movements for one or more vehicle parts.
In order to implement the functionality described above in both directions of movement of the moving vehicle part, it is provided according to an advantageous development of the invention that there are at least two parallel connecting lines between the working spaces of the working cylinder arrangement, two connecting lines opening in one connection line Non-return valves are used, two non-return valves to be blocked in the parallel connecting line being inserted, and there being a further connecting line between the parallel connecting lines, which branches off in each of the parallel connecting lines between the two non-return valves and into which at least one that completely releases this connecting line or blocking switching valve is used in series with a preload valve.
The arrangement of oppositely oriented non-return valves in the parallel lines, which are connected to the preload valve and the switching valve via the connecting line, can - in conjunction with the activated hydraulic system - supply one of the two working spaces with the hydraulic medium, while in the event of failure or deliberate shutdown of the hydraulic system, the connection between the oppositely working workspaces - and controlled by the preload valve and the switching valve - is established. If the connection between the work rooms is blocked, it is neither possible to push the medium between the work rooms nor to move it manually into the reservoir, which is ensured for this emergency by blocking the connecting line to the reservoir.
As a result, the component remains securely fixed in the current position.
According to a further feature of the invention, it is provided that the switching valve is designed as a normally open valve. As a result, the effect of the preload valve is not impaired in normal operation and also in emergency operation, while after appropriate activation for the safe stop function, the switching valve can only be brought into the closed position for a short time at most. The connection between the working spaces of the working cylinder arrangement is completely blocked and the otherwise automatically moved component is safely in the current position
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
held. Then the switching valve can, but does not have to, be opened again, i.e. are de-energized so that, for example, manual actuation of the door, tailgate or the like or emergency actuation with overpressure of the preload valve is made possible.
In order to ensure the safe holding function in a simple and safe manner, the or each lockable connecting line to the reservoir branches off from the working line from the connecting line furthest away from the working cylinder arrangement. This means that this part of the system located on the working cylinder arrangement can also be matched precisely to the prevailing and possible pressure conditions, and all valves can also be optimally designed to meet the requirements.
In order to ensure manual actuation even in the event of a power failure, the switching valve can be actuated with a mechanical one according to an advantageous embodiment of the invention
Unlocking. This can be operated directly or via a cable or the like, which leads to a button or lever to be operated by the user.
If, according to a further feature of the invention, an identical double-acting working cylinder is provided in the actuating arrangement as described above, both of which

Check valves are connected, both sides of the reversible pump being connected to one another and to a reservoir for the working fluid via a shuttle valve.
If a sensor for the vehicle inclination is advantageously provided and connected to the control unit, one can be used to control the switching valve in the case of the stop function
All actuating or holding forces are taken into account in connection with the alignment of the vehicle.
If a sensor is advantageously provided for the movement of the pivotable part of the vehicle and is connected to the control unit, a torque curve on the moving part that changes along the path can also be taken into account, which changes, for example, from a change in the load on the vehicle part or due to overrun on an obstacle.
The changes mentioned as well as the desired manual influences, such as the manual slamming of a normally automatically operated door, the manual start impulse for the subsequent automatic movement of the respective component or the manual stopping of an automatically initiated or in progress operating sequence can be taken into account if according to a further feature of the invention, between the working cylinder arrangement and the control valve, at least one pressure sensor is provided and is connected to the control unit.
Advantageously, many of the above-mentioned functions are implemented by a program stored in the control unit, which, depending on the actuation of a queried operating element, for stopping the movement of the vehicle part and possibly also at least the vehicle inclination, preferably also the opening angle of the pivotable one Partly and possibly also the pressure curve in the system, a control signal for, among other things, the switching valve is generated. The program control enables a wide variety of functions to be implemented.
Of course, the control unit advantageously also takes over the normal actuation control under program control. H. queries operating elements such as buttons, buttons, latches on doors, vehicle flaps or the like and accordingly controls not only the switching valve but also the supply system for the working fluid, in particular the reversible pump and all necessary valves and other components. Flap or the like. Enables, in which the push-over connection between the opposing working spaces of the working cylinder arrangement leaves free or releases again quickly after blocking the switching valve.
The impulse to start this special function can be given by the
Query and the detection of a change in path on the displacement or angle sensor or also the actuation of the pawl, be it inside or outside, of a switch, button or the like on the moving component itself. The rapid rise in pressure due to the manual initiation of the movement can at most be reported to the control unit by the pressure sensor of the system and can result in the release of the connection. Or the movement of the working fluid in its circuit is monitored and a rapid increase in movement can be used as a detection signal for the control unit.
In the following description, the invention is to be explained in more detail on the basis of a special advantageous exemplary embodiment. The drawing shows a circuit diagram of a hydraulic system according to the invention for, for example, an automatic door drive for motor vehicles.
A door 1 as an example of a vehicle part that can be moved by the actuation arrangement according to the invention can be moved in the opening and closing direction about an axis of rotation 2 by means of, for example, a double-acting hydraulic working cylinder 3. These movements are brought about by the application of hydraulic oil to the two equally large work spaces 4 and 5, which make volume compensation between the two sides of the work cylinder 3 avoidable, the control of the work spaces 4 and 5 using a preferably electronic control unit (not shown) ) is controlled.
This control unit, on the one hand, queries a signal line from an operating element, either by means of a program that is stored or changeable in a memory or in accordance with a fixed circuit, and also controls a valve and to be explained in more detail below, in accordance with the stored program or the fixed circuit Line arrangement, on the other hand a hydraulic unit, specifically the motor of a reversible pump 6. The two sides of the pump 6 are in turn connected on the one hand to the tank 8 for the hydraulic oil via a shuttle valve 7, and on the other hand via lines 9 which can be unlocked from the opposite side
Check valves 10 with the working cylinder 3rd
In a connecting line between the two
On the side of the pump 6, a changeover valve 12 is used, via which the respectively pressurized
Line is connected to a proportional pressure valve 13 to limit the system pressure with the tank 8.
In each of the lines 14, 15 from one of the sides of the pump 6 to one of the working spaces 4, 5 of the working cylinder 3, a pressure sensor (not shown) is connected, which is also connected to the control unit, as well as at least a sensor for the vehicle inclination and a displacement sensor for the movement of the door 1. Instead of the displacement sensor coupled to the advantageously linear working cylinder 3, a rotation sensor could also be provided on the rotation axis 2 or generally any sensor arrangement which provides information about the opening angle of the door 1 allows.
Between the lines 14 and 15 run parallel to each other and to the working cylinder 3, two connecting lines 16 and 17, in each of which two check valves 18, 19 and 20, 21 are inserted. The check valves 18, 19 are spring-loaded valves that are oriented in opposite directions. The blocking or opening direction is selected in such a way that the valves 18, 19 open in the direction from the connecting line 14 or 15 to the opposite valve. The opposite is true for the typically completely conventional check valves 20, 21; H. that these valves 20, 21 are blocked by the connecting line 14, 15 on the opposite valve.
A further connecting line 22 branches off between each pair of check valves 18, 19 and 20, 21 and connects the two parallel connecting lines 16 and 17 to one another. In this additional connecting line 22 a switching valve 23, which is preferably open when de-energized, is now used in series with a preload valve 24.
This switching valve 23, which is open in normal operation, does not influence the function of the preload valve 24 in normal operation and in the case of manual actuation of the moving vehicle part 1, which is overpressed during manual actuation and thus allows hydraulic medium to be pushed between the working spaces 4 and 5 of the working cylinder arrangement But should the door, tailgate or the like. 1 safely in

the current position are stopped, the switching valve 23 is energized so that in the
Locked position and thus the connection between workrooms 4 and 5 safely separated. Since the check valves 10 then also block in the direction of the pump 6 or reservoir 8 and the hydraulic oil cannot therefore be pushed back into these components, the door is
1 securely fixed in the current position.
Subsequent to stopping, the switching valve 23 can also be brought back into the open position immediately, advantageously by terminating its current supply, in order to allow manual actuation of the door, the tailgate, the convertible top or the like. At most, the energization of the switching valve 23, so that the blockage of the connection between the work spaces 4 and 5 and thus the absolutely safe holding function for the actuated component 1 on the vehicle can be maintained until a new actuation lever, switch or the like is actuated again ,
If, on the other hand, by querying and recognizing a change in path on the path sensor, if necessary also recognizing the actuation of the pawl, a switch, button or the like, if necessary also on door 1 itself, the program stored in the control unit recognizes that a fast manual movement If the door, for example a manual closing, is desired, the control device prevents the switching valve 23 from closing from the beginning. The rapid rise in pressure, determined by one of the pressure sensors of the system or the detection of the movement of the hydraulic oil, can cause this to keep the switching valve 23 open, as a result of which the essentially free pushing of the hydraulic oil from one working space 4, 5 into the other and thus the free movement of the door 1 is largely possible by hydraulic interference.
Finally, in the drawings, an arrangement of a throttle 25 and a check valve opening from the pump 6 to the respective working space 4, 5 is also shown in each of the connecting lines 14, 15. This arrangement 25, 26 serves to limit the speed of the outflow of the hydraulic medium to the tank 8, while it allows the largely unhindered supply of the working spaces 4, 5 by the hydraulic system 6, 9, 10.
In all cases in which the energy supply to the pump 6 fails and an emergency actuation is to take place or the energy supply is intentionally not active and the door 1 is to be actuated manually, the check valves 10 block the connection between the working cylinder arrangement 3 and the tank 8, so that the hydraulic medium can only be shifted between the opposite working spaces 4, 5 via the connecting lines 16, 17 and 22. As explained above, this displacement is influenced by the preload valve 24 in connection with the switching valve 23.
