  Wärmespeicher. 



   Der Gegenstand der Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur Aufspeicherung des Abdampfes von unregelmässig arbeitenden Dampfmaschinen und bezweckt, in möglichst kurzer Zeit grosse Wassermengen für die   Anfspeicherung   und Abgabe der   Wärme   geeignet zu machen und die Leistung des   Wärmespeicher   zu erhöhen. 



   Wie die Zeichnung zeigt, wird in einem Kessel a, in welchen der Abdampf eingeleitet wird und in welchem die zur Wärmeaufspeicherung dienende Flüssigkeit, z. B. 



  Wasser, enthalten ist, eine Anzahl Gefässe c, welche an Armen d nach Art eines Schöpfwerkes im Kreise angebracht sind, mittels der   horizontalen Welle b   von aussen in lang-

   Die Wirkungsweise dieser Vorrichtung ist folgende : Das während der Drehung der Gefässe gehobene Wasser fliesst teils durch die Öffnungen/, teils bei dem inneren Rande g in verteiltem Zustande aus und bietet so dem strömenden Abdampf eine grosse Oberfläche behufs intensiven Wärmeaustausches. Gleichzeitig wird das im Kessel enthaltene Wasser durch die hindurch bewegten Teile kräftig durchgemischt, sodass Temperaturdifferenzen der Wasserteilchen rasch ausgeglichen werden. 



   Diese Vorrichtung bietet gegenüber den bekannten, ähnlichen   Wärmespeicber-Kon-   struktionen den Vorteil, dass sie   sämmtliche   für ine gute Wirkungsweise des Wärmespeichers erforderlichen Bedingungen gleichzeitig erfüllt, während die anderen Vorrichtungen mehr oder weniger nur einem Teile dieser Bedingungen entsprechen. 



   Durch die beschriebene Konstruktion soll erreicht werden : Eine innige Mischung der Flüssigkeit durch die grossen senkrecht auf die Richtung der Bewegung gelegenen Flächen ; ein rasches Heben grosser Wassermengen mit verhältnismässig geringem Kraftaufwand ; die Erzielung eines kräftigen Regens behufs ausgiebiger Vergrösserung der   Wasserobernäche   : eine bequeme   Leistungsvergrösserung   durch Erhöhung der Tourenzahl; die Erhöhung der Betriebssicherheit durch Verwendung langsamlaufender und daher un-   ompnndlicherer   Konstruktionsteile ; zum Teil   aucl die Ausnutzung der in den Konstruktions-   teilen selbst gelegenen Wärmekapazität.
