   Die bis jetzt   gebräuchlichen     Invertglühkörper,   welche an den Tragringen in irgendeiner Weise befestigt werden, zeigten bisher den   Übelstand,   dass ihre Verpackung für den Transport der Aufrechterhaltung der beabsichtigten Form schädlich war. Die einzelnen für den Gebrauch bis auf das Abflammen fertigen   Glühkörper   werden bekanntlich in kleinen Pappkartons verschickt, aus welchen sie zum Gebrauch herausgenommen werden. Es kann nun bei dem Transport in den Kartons vorkommen, dass der Glühstrumpf zusammengedrückt wird, wie dies in Fig. 1 übertrieben dargestellt ist ; diese Stellung behält der   Glühkörper   auch nach dem Anbringen in der Lampe, ohne dass man durch Ziehen oder Recken die gewünschte, in Fig. 2 dargestellte Form erhalten kann.

   Dass ein   flachgedrückte   Glühstrumpf geringe Lebensdauer und verminderte Leuchtkraft zeigt, ist eine bekannte Tatsache. 



   Der Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung besteht nun darin, dass man, um diesem Übelstande zu begegnen, um den am Ring c befestigten   Glühkörper   b an der Befestigungstelle, wie in der Fig. 2 gezeigt ist, ein Band oder einen Ring a anbringt, welcher   vm   dem Befestigen des Körpers an der Lampe abgenommen wird und durch seinen Druck während des Transportes die Aufrechterhaltung der gewünschten Form bewirkt. Hiebei kann der Ring oder'das Band aus starrem oder dehnbarem Material, wie Papier, Gummi o. dgl., bestehen. Wesentlich ist dabei, dass das Band oder der Ring stramm aufliegt ; das Band wird an den beiden übereinanderliegenden Enden zusammengebunden oder durch ein geeignetes Hilfsmittel, z. B. Leim, befestigt. 



   Selbstverständlich kann das Band oder der Ring zur Formerhaltung nicht nur an gebrauchsfertigen, d. h. bereits abgebrannten, mit einem Collodiumüberzug versebenen Glühkörpern, sondern auch an nichtveraschten   Gltihkörpern, wie   dieselben gleichfalls zur
Versendung gelangen, angebracht werden.
