Befestigung des Maskenmundringes an Gasmasken.
Die Erfindung betrifft die Befestigung von Maskenmundringen an Gasmasken. Hiezu wird das Mundstück in eine Aussparung des Maskenkörpers gesteckt und mit einer darübergelegten Schelle festgebunden. Der Maskenmundring besitzt eine breite Einschnürung, in die der Stoff des Maskenkörpers durch die Schelle eingedrückt wird. Es kann bei der bekannten Anordnung vorkommen, dass der Mundring sich löst, dadurch, dass bei zu schwach gespannter Schelle der Maskenstoff unter der Schelle hinausgleitet.
Dieser Nachteil wird durch die Erfindung vermieden. Gemäss der Erfindung ist die am Maskenmundring vorgesehene Einschnürung mit Rillen versehen, und die darübergelegte Schelle besitzt ebenfalls Rillen, die beim Anziehen der Schelle den Maskenkörperstoff in die Rillen des Maskenmundringes hineindrücken. Neben einer oder zwei tieferen Rillen im Maskenmundring können mehrere kleine Rillen vorgesehen sein.
Die Zeichnung stellt ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung dar. Darin ist a der Maskenkörper.
Der Maskenmundring b besitzt zwischen den Wulsten c und d eine Einschnürung. In dieser Einschnürung sind mehrere Rillen e eingeformt. Die den Maskenstoff in die Einschnürung drückende Schelle t besitzt eine oder mehrere Rillen, die beim Anziehen der Schelle den Maskenstoff in die Rillen des Maskenmundringes drücken. Die obere Hälfte der Zeichnung zeigt die Anordnung vor, die untere Hälfte nach dem Anziehen der Schelle.

The mask mouth ring has a wide constriction into which the material of the mask body is pressed by the clamp. With the known arrangement, it can happen that the mouth ring comes loose because the mask material slides out from under the clamp if the clamp is not tightened enough.
This disadvantage is avoided by the invention. According to the invention, the constriction provided on the mask mouth ring is provided with grooves, and the clamp placed over it also has grooves which, when the clamp is tightened, press the mask body material into the grooves of the mask mouth ring.
