The end product manufactured according to the present invention has the advantage of being the best insulator for heat and electricity, that it is pliable, has great strength, that it is neither exposed to rot nor other atmospheric influences, and that it is absolutely resistant to most acids and alkalis .
Very nice successes can finally be achieved with the present invention when using colored gas. It is known that very pretty color effects are achieved when colored glass threads are produced, and colored threads can mainly be used for weaving and trimmings, making it possible to utilize all the textile industry aids that have been customary up to now. The use of colored glass threads saves the coloring of the yarn. The colors are absolutely real and, everlasting.
PATENT CLAIMS: t. Embodiment of the method for twisting glass threads or for the production of glass yarn according to the parent patent no. 33063, characterized in that paragum solutions, collodion and rubber solutions are used for finishing the freshly spun glass threads, for the purpose of giving the glass threads a large To give suppleness.
