Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

    Sphärisch und chromatisch korrigiertes Doppelobjektlv mit zweilinsigen Gliedern,
 EMI1.1

    Spherically and chromatically corrected double lens with two-lens links,
 EMI1.1
 spherical, chromatic and corrected for coma, because it is to be implemented as a micro-projection system, but mainly as a strongly magnifying glass with a large field of view.

  The arrangement of its lenses resembles a well-known design of a photographic double lens, each of whose two identical members consists of two non-cemented lenses - an inner plano-concave flint glass lens with an inner flat surface and an outer biconvex crown glass lens - and presents a destructive pair of neighboring surfaces. The adaptation of such a symmetrical lens to the purposes mentioned above has proven to be impractical.

   With the large aperture ratio, the required coma correction for distant image points can only be carried out if there is a considerable deviation from the symmetrical arrangement of the lenses, and the like. between a deviation in the sense that the parallel

 and that, furthermore, in the same member the non-hollow surface of the flint-glass lens is less curved than in the other member.

   In the drawing, the new double lens is shown, for example, as a nine-fold magnifying glass.
