Floating crane with counterweight.
EMI1.1
to pull the boom in the strokes, whereby the winch used to erect the boom experiences a certain relief.
The present invention relates to floating cranes; In such cranes, as is well known, a counterweight is generally used, which is driven by the crane
EMI1.2
According to the invention, in floating cranes with an erectable jib, this balance weight is to be used at the same time to relieve the load on the winch used to raise the jib in such floating cranes.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject of the invention is shown in the accompanying drawing. The drawing shows a slewing crane on a pontoon a. on the rotating frame b of which the boom c is pivotably mounted in a vertical plane. The spindle d is used to raise the atislayer. The crane counterweight e is suspended from the rear of the rotating frame, u. zw. its carrying cable engages the jib edge r'an and runs over a guide pulley c2.
EMI1.3
Suspension can of course be avoided and it is also not excluded. to connect the weight rigidly to the boom in a suitable manner.
In the latter case, it will not be able to get as deep a position as it would be when hanging on a rope or chain.
When the boom is erected, its moment with respect to its axis of rotation in a certain position becomes equal to or approximately nuil. so that the counterweight
EMI1.4
exercises the boom.
Instead of arranging the upper part of the crane rotatable in a horizontal plane, as shown, this rotatability can also be dispensed with in that the upper part of the crane is firmly connected to the pontoon.
