 EMI1.1

The subject of the present invention is an improved water circulation device for steam boilers for the purpose of causing increased water circulation around the heating surface.

The previously known water circulation devices for steam boilers, in which circulation is achieved by means of a steam flow generated in the latter, have the drawback that on the one hand the force to induce a circulating flow is too weak, on the other hand the steam flow here due to narrow organs, pipes, channels, Nozzles and Like. Is pressed through, so that the same easily clog, due to the weakening of the steam force by the friction on the walls of these organs.

and is broken down into an oppressive one.

Fig. 1 shows a cross section of the device. Fig. 2 is a partial perspective view of the same.
 EMI1.3
Dampfichto located at the water level, hoods b and c open from below, which open out laterally into a throat d located above the heating surface. Each of the hoods contains a steam box e and f for storing the working steam for the suction and one for the pressure effect. Due to the constant steam production at the heating
 EMI1.4
Apply the same and it takes place by means of intermittent action and caused by external steam pressure, the pushing out of individual steam bubbles, which at the same time cause the sucking in of the entrained parts of the water.

The escaping steam now fills the working space e in front of it, the latter running out into the special throat d.

The steam bubbles emerging from the steam space e now transfer their speed by means of an impact to the water standing in the Schlllndkanal, in that the steam bubbles are pressed wide and thereby cause an intensive drag of the water. Any friction on the vessel walls is avoided and at the same time is caused by the

In addition to the advantages of increased water circulation and the resulting savings in coal, this arrangement offers the possibility of preventing scale build-up on the heating surface, since the heavy such as quay, siliceous earth and the like in the boiler water. Boilers accumulate, from where cleaning can easily be done.
