Process for the production of colored roofing felt.
The production of colored coatings on roofing felt impregnated with tar or petroleum pitch presents no difficulties, but there are no known methods of processing raw cardboard by impregnation in colored impregnation compounds on roofing felt.
The object of the present invention forms a method for producing be

combined and does not require any preservation coating for a long time.
After the process in question, light petroleum residues are mixed with lolophonium and resin oil, which has been colored as desired by fat-soluble aninine dyes. For this purpose, the aniline metal resin paints produced by A. t) Iüller-Jacobs are used, which have the property that they are neither attacked by air nor by steam and are not damaged by hot or cold water. By adding the colored linseed oil, the whole mass is colored accordingly to the linseed oil and is now used in a known manner for impregnating raw cardboard.
The roofing felt obtained in this way has the color nuance of linseed oil; by opening
