Im Stammpatent Nr. 217990 sind ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zur gleichmässigen Verteilung der einzudampfenden Lösung auf die Siederohre eines, durch die Lösung von oben nach unten durch- flossenen, Verdampfers beschrieben, bei welchem der Querschnitt der den einzelnen Siederohren vorgelagerten Durchtrittsöffnung mittels eines zusammendrückbaren Körpers aus elastischem Material ver- ändert werden kann.
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Verbesserung an diesem elastischen, in Form einer Scheibe zur Verwendung kommenden, Körper. Sie besteht darin, dass gemäss der Zeichnung in der elastischen Scheibe e zentral zu jedem Siederohr a ein elastisches, röhrenartiges Formstück f angeordnet wird. Dasselbe besteht aus einem in chemischer und physikalischer Hinsicht (Temperatur, Elastizität, Abriebfestigkeit usw.) besonders hochwertigen Material, z. B. Teflon od. dgl. Dadurch wird es möglich, für die elastische, die Lage der Formstücke f zu den Siederohren a sichernde, zugleich den Zwischenraum zwischen den Metallplatten d und c ausfüllende, Scheibe e einen weniger abriebfesten (und daher billigeren) Baustoff zu verwenden.
Die Formstücke f können mit der sie tragenden elastischen Scheibe e in geeigneter Weise (etwa durch Vulkanisieren, Kitten od. dgl.) verbunden werden. Sie können aber auch auswechselbar in die Scheibe e eingesetzt werden.
