   Beispiel   3 : Eine 3' igeFärbungvonBenzolichtrot   8BL (Schultz, Farbstofftabellen, 7. Aufl. [1931], Nr. 566) auf Baumwolle wird im Flottenverhältnis 1 : 20 1/2 Stunde bei Raumtemperatur in einem Bad nachbehandelt, das im Liter 3 g der nachstehend beschriebenen Lösung einer   erfindungsgemäss   in Betracht kommenden polyquartemären Verbindung enthält. Die Nassechtheiten der Färbung sind dann bedeutend verbessert. 



   Die verwendete Lösung der polyquarternären Verbindung wird auf folgende Weise bereitet :
Eine Mischung von 11,6 g   l,   2-Bis-(dimethylamino)-äthan und 12, 7 g 1, 4-Dichlorbutan wurde etwa 40 Stunden auf 90-95 C erhitzt. Das entstandene Umsetzlmgsprodukt wurde dann in 50   cm ?   Wasser gelöst und die Lösung wurde unter Zusatz von 30 g   Ammoniumsulfat   mit Wasser auf ein Gesamtgewicht von 140 g gebracht. 



   Die Nassechtheiten der Färbung können ebenfalls bedeutend verbessert werden, wenn man an Stelle der oben beschriebenen   Lösung   eine Lösung verwendet, die unter Austausch des   1,   4-Dichlorbutans durch die   äquivalente   Menge 1, 4-Dibrombutan hergestellt wird. 



    PATENTANSPRÜCHE :    
1. Verwendung von solchen polyquartemären Verbindungen, die durch Umsetzung von ditertiären Äthylendiaminen mit aliphatischen Dihalogenverbindungen erhalten worden sind, als Nachbehandlungsmittel, insbesondere für Direktfärbungen.
