Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Vorofenfeuerung, die einen Vorofen und einen Dampfkessel ausweist und bei der diese beiden Teile durch ein gemauertes Übergangsstück miteinander verbunden sind, das verfahrbar sein kann und das zum Überleiten der Feuergase aus der Vorfeuerung in den Dampfkessel dient. 



   Bei den bekannten Bauarten solcher Übergangsstücke besteht der Übelstand, dass das Mauerwerk des Übergangsstückes durch Abbrand einem sehr starken Verschleiss unterworfen ist und dass durch die starke Abstrahlung an dessen Aussenseite an diesem, den höchsten Feuerraumtemperaturen

Zur Verstärkung der Dampfentwicklung sind noch Steigrohre 13 in die Rohre 8 eingeschweisst. Die Vorderwand 4 a des Übergangsstückes 4 ist gemauert und von abzuschirmenden Rohren freigehalten, um eine zu grosse Abkühlung der Feuergase und damit die Gefahr der Rauchbildung zu vermeiden. 



   Am Übergangsstück 4 sind Rollen 14 gelagert, mittels denen es auf unterzuschiebende Schienen 15 aufgesetzt und weggefahren werden kann, nachdem die an den Leitungen 11, 12 vorgesehenen Flanschverbindungen 16, 17 gelöst und das Übergangsstück von seinem Sitze 18 auf der Mauerung etwas abgehoben worden ist. Die Aussenseite der Rohrreihen 8 und des Dampfsammlers 10 sind gegen Abstrahlung durch eine Isolation 19 geschützt.
