Bewehrungsunterlage

Reinforcement underlay
There are already known reinforcement supports which consist of a square, rectangular or round concrete block, which is penetrated by a piece of tie wire, with the help of which the block can be attached to the reinforcement iron. As is known, these blocks have the task of keeping the reinforcing iron in a certain position in relation to the cross-section of the bar and at a precise distance from the formwork in the production of concrete beams or the like, so that the reinforcing iron is reliably in the desired position in the finished beam, namely in the tension zone of the beam or the like. The blocks should be inextricably linked to the surrounding concrete.
It has now been shown that especially in the production of precast concrete beams, which are often quite long and bent during transport
Reinforcing iron is not inserted into the formwork in a sufficiently straight position and further deformed during the ramming process.
As a result of this process, the rebars do not assume the prescribed position and in places, together with the blocks, stand out from the formwork. In the case of the often rather low concrete beams, the reinforcing bars are therefore not in the tension zone, which experience has shown is usually the case in the middle of the beam, i.e. precisely in the area of the dangerous cross-section. After the beams have been completed, it has hitherto hardly been possible to identify such scrap pieces, since the small blocks that should be visible on the undersurface of the beams hardly stand out from the surrounding concrete. It is usually not possible to determine whether the block is in its correct position or whether it has changed its position, enclosed by the beam material (concrete).
The subject matter of the invention eliminates the deficiencies mentioned in an effective and simple manner. The invention consists essentially in giving the blocks a striking appearance, u. between special shape, color and surface design or grain. With regard to the shape, the aim was at the same time to prevent the loosening of the blocks or the formation of cracks along the circumference of the blocks as far as possible and, moreover, the production of the
To facilitate blocks. For this purpose, the reinforcement was designed so that its lateral
Boundary surfaces run in the direction of tensile stress or the longitudinal axis of the beam or at an angle to it. A particularly expedient form in this sense was u. a. the
Found a hexagonal shape that comes to rest with a point in the longitudinal direction of the bar.
The tensile stresses between the concrete and the blocks can therefore not have their full effect, but only with the sin 60 reduced
Amount.
At the same time, the production of such blocks is extremely simple and can be carried out without waste concrete. The production molds are expediently formed by correspondingly shaped sheet-metal strips to be inserted into a molding box, which when put together a honeycomb-like

In addition to the shape and surface properties, the color is an essential feature of the invention. This can be done by appropriate additives, such. B. slag or adding a color to the mixture can be achieved.
The usual embedding channel for the support of the reinforcing steel is omitted in the blocks according to the invention, so that the iron inlays in the support gussets are better covered by the concrete placed on the platelets.
An example embodiment of the subject invention is illustrated in the drawing, u. of a bar with the small blocks clearly protruding through the color and grain or surface pattern.
The nature of the subject matter of the invention is evident from the drawing.
