Securing the ends of hose outer coils
The invention relates to securing the ends of hose outer coils. So far one used special clamping elements, clamps or the like. To fix the ends of the wire windings. Furthermore, it has also been proposed to place the wire windings applied with tension close to one another at the ends and to connect them to form a closed ring by soldering.

However, this process was not only cumbersome, but also costly because of the material used.

According to the invention, the wire of the helix laid in tight turns at the ends of the hose is clamped by a sheet metal strip; however, these turns can also be connected to one another at the same time by any number of welding points.

An exemplary embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing. 1-3 show the spiked end of the hose with the sheet metal strip closed to form a sleeve in longitudinal and cross-section and in elevation. Fig. 4 shows the open clamp when inserting the tight wire windings.

On the hose mandrel 1 is z. B. drawn onto an inner coil 3 of the hose 2.

The outer helix is inserted in the indentations between the turns of the inner screw. In the area of the hose ends, the tightly juxtaposed turns are inserted over a sheet metal strip 5 with ends bent up in a C-shape, then these ends are pressed down and finally the wire end 7 is secured by bending around the closed sheet metal capsule. According to a further embodiment of the invention, this connection of the narrow turns can also be reinforced by any number of welding points on the wire screw ends.
