Wire fence made of line and cross wires.
The invention relates to a fence in which two longitudinal wires are connected by transverse wires and the ends of these transverse wires are wound around the longitudinal wires. The invention is in it

grip around the wire and then wrap it around the line wire in opposite directions.
The drawing illustrates an embodiment of the fence according to the invention in FIGS. 1 and 2 in the state before or during and after completion in perspective and in FIG. 3 in a view from above. A modified embodiment is shown in Fig. 4 and 5 during and after completion in a view and in Fig. 6 in a view from above. The wire fence is formed from longitudinal wires a and transverse connecting wires b, which are wound around the longitudinal wires at the node points.
According to the invention, the two transverse wires b are wound with their ends c at the nodes directly around the longitudinal wire, encompassing the second transverse wire, one transverse wire to the left and the other to the right in opposite directions. This creates an intimate connection between the transverse wires and with the longitudinal wire. To produce the fence according to FIGS. 1-3, the cross wires b are advantageously provided with bent ends e and, at the point of bend, with a small cropping & 'for the second cross wire. The twisting of the wire ends c takes place, for.
B. by means of a device d (Fig. 2), while at the same time the cross wire and the longitudinal

be attached, also with a crank / '(Fig. 3) for the purpose of securing the transverse wires during laying against lateral displacement. The offset f can be produced in the case of wires that are not too thick by tightening them.
In the fence according to FIGS. 4-6, the ends c of the transverse wires are bent at the ends before they are wrapped around them. The cross wire b is hung with this coiled end c on the longitudinal wire a (FIG. 5) and rotated until the end c encompasses the longitudinal wire a (FIG. 4). The same thing happens at the lower end c of the wire, which is facilitated by the loose sagging of the longitudinal wire a at this stage of manufacture. After laying, the transverse wires b are pushed into the vertical or vertical position, as a result of which they exert a pressure on the longitudinal wires a with their helically bent ends c, which at most produces the same bends (FIG. 6).
