Description

Process for the production of armored ski boots.

The invention relates to a method for reinforcing ski poles. According to the invention, the ski pole is wrapped or covered with an impregnable material. For example, a winding made of a split can also be used for this purpose.

This material is soaked with liquid celluloid and the whole stick is covered with such celluloid. The celluloid, which has great adhesive properties, combines with the material and the pole and, after solidification, results in a flexible and almost indelible coat and protection against breakage around the core, the ski pole. The celluloid mass which is not sucked in forms a coating and gives a beautiful appearance.

The previously known celluloid reinforcement had the disadvantage that it splintered off the stick when it was hit against hard objects. By contrast, the method according to the invention eliminates this disadvantage by connecting the celluloid with the wrapping material and both with the stick.

In the drawing, the ski pole is shown in Fig. 1 in plan and in Fig. 2 in cross plan.

It denotes A the ski pole, B the impregnable material and C the celluloid mass.

**WARNUNG** Ende CLMS Feld Kannt Anfang DESC uberlappen**. PATENT CLAIM: Process for the production of armored ski poles, characterized in that a winding of an impregnable material is applied to the ski pole while leaving free areas on the ski pole, which, together with the pole, is covered with a layer of liquid celluloid which penetrates the material and adheres to the ski pole , whereby an intimate connection between the stick, winding and celluloid cover is achieved after the liquid celluloid has dried. ** WARNING ** End of CLMS field may overlap beginning of DESC **.
