Erfindung-
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
abtrennt.
EMI3.1
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>
<Desc/Clms Page number 5>
EMI5.1
<Desc/Clms Page number 6>
EMI6.1
Fliesst also nach Beendi-

Device for remote actuation and remote reporting.
Remote switching and feedback devices have already become known in which pulse-controlled stepping mechanisms are used as selection means. In a known device of this type, a control or feedback process is carried out by synchronously running
Selector first established the connection with the desired device, after which the actual control or feedback signal is transmitted. Switch-on and switch-off commands or switch-on and
Off feedbacks are transmitted by one and the same selector step and differentiated from one another by using currents of different polarity.
For separating the switching and
Feedback signals, special trunk lines are used for both types of commands; the synchronization of the two voters located in the monitoring point and in the operating point is also carried out via a special synchronization line. Although this device has the advantage that two control commands and two feedback commands can be transmitted on a single selector segment, it also has the disadvantage that a large number of connection channels are required.
In another known device, only a single connecting line is necessary.
This is made possible by the fact that as an identifier for the tax or tax to be transferred. Feedback signal a time interval is used which is inserted in the synchronous operation of the selector on the corresponding selector contact. When this time interval is received, the operation is not yet carried out, but only prepared. The desired operation is only carried out when it has been established that the voters in the monitoring station and in the operating station have actually run synchronously. This determination is made by again inserting a time interval at the end of the voter cycle, which the voter in the opposite station must receive in the last step if a command is to be carried out.
However, this method has the disadvantage that only one command can be transmitted for a single selection step; 4 selector contacts are occupied for the control and feedback of a switch. Furthermore, 2 voter cycles are necessary for a control process, since the switching is only carried out at the end of the first voter cycle, while the feedback can only be transmitted by another voter cycle. As a result, the operating speed of the system is naturally significantly reduced. Even with pure feedback, the transmission speed is relatively low, especially when several switches are triggered at the same time and are to be reported when the voter circulates, since in this case a large number of time intervals must be inserted.
Attempts have now been made to mitigate the disadvantages mentioned in part by using separate voting systems for control and feedback, which are either operated via special transmission lines or switched to the long-distance line one after the other or alternately using a switching mechanism. However, this measure complicates the system considerably without eliminating its above-mentioned disadvantageous basic properties.
Furthermore, it is also known to carry out both remote control commands and feedback transmissions in devices for remote control and remote reporting with pulse-controlled, synchronously running voters in the participating stations in a single pass of the voters. Invention-
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
According to this, this is done in such a way that currents of a different type for remote control than for feedback are routed via the voter contacts assigned to the individual monitored organs.
Furthermore, according to the invention, current surges or pauses of different duration can be used to carry out the remote operations and currents of different types can be used to carry out feedback messages.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is shown schematically in the drawing. Here, FIGS. 1, 2 and 3 contain the selector and relay circuit or monitoring station and FIGS. 4 and 5 that of the operating station. La and Lb are the long-distance lines which are fed from the operating point by the battery B. For the sake of simplicity, there is only one operating point
EMI2.1
remotely controlled and reported via one and the same long-distance line. Predetermined contact groups on the voter are assigned to the individual operating points. For example, the operating station 1 can occupy the contacts 1-10, the operating station 2 the contacts 10-20 etc. on the voter.
With the known means of visualization technology, a group election can also be made by the same voter or by preceding group voters.
The example shown for the implementation of the invention uses the closed-circuit current principle.
The long-distance lines La and Lb are therefore continuously traversed by quiescent current. If the Stronisehleife is interrupted, all voters are switched one step further. The quiescent current step following the interruption can, as can be seen, either with positive or negative polarity
EMI2.2
u "and and 11/11" is determined.
The control of the voter systems takes place according to the known clock principle. This consists in the fact that an excellent voter takes over the control of the voters of all operating points, regardless of whether a remote switching command is to be transmitted from the monitoring point or a feedback signal is to be transmitted from one of the operating points.
Instead of the quiescent current circuit, an operating current circuit can of course also be used. In such a case, the dialer is expediently switched in such a way that the clock-generating dialer sends out an impulse which is replied by the operating center if it is correctly received. The clock-setting voter then sends the next pulse, which also triggers a return pulse in the control room, etc. In this way, the voters are switched alternately.
It is now assumed that the switch 84 is to be turned off remotely in the operating room.
For this purpose, the surveillance officer presses the switch button T4. This switch button should be designed as a toggle switch with a central position, by pressing it to the left the contact Tep
EMI2.3
and Tac4III are closed in both positions of the toggle switch.
The trunk lines are energized because, as will be explained later, the contacts u1In and i1IIIs are closed in the operating position. The receiving relay E in the monitoring station and in the operating station is therefore excited and has its switchover contact ell set to the right, so that the delay relay Vi is energized. The delay relay Vi receives its delay property from the capacitor C * i connected in parallel. The relay V2 is also excited by d wired, which also has a drop-out delay due to the capacitor connected in parallel.
The latter therefore keeps its working contact! './ "closed, so that when the switching
EMI2.4
and DIII switches to the first step. When considering these switching processes, FIG. 3 is initially completely disregarded in the monitoring station, since it only represents a repetition of FIG. 2 with the difference that control acknowledgment switches are used instead of the switching button.
EMI2.5
Relay J disconnected. However, this initially has no effect, since the relay J creates a self-holding circuit via its normally open contact iII.
Due to the de-energization of the receiving relay E, the delay relay V1 had meanwhile been switched off, so that it drops out after a delay and, via d, also the delay relay V2
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
separates. As soon as the latter drops out, the relay J is de-energized again by opening v2Io. The long-distance lines La and Lb are thus switched through again by il and iIII, so that the relay E is energized again. The intermediate relay Ze also drops out and opens its normally open contact. The selector magnet D is thereby de-energized again. This has the consequence that the armature contact there is closed, which was open during the excitation of the selector magnet D.
Since the delay relays V1 and V2 had been energized by re-energizing relay E, clock relay T can now be energized via i roll, the armature break contact da of selector D, which interrupts long-distance lines La and Lb by opening tI and, see above that after the receiving relay E has dropped out, the intermediate relay Ze is excited via eIl and the selector magnet D receives a further pulse via / ", n / and zcI. In this case, the selector D disconnects again by opening its armature contact, so that the lines via i1 and iIII are switched off again.
This mutual play between the selector D and the clock relay T via the long-distance lines takes place as long as the contact v0Io is closed, i.e. H. until the voter has come back to the zero position in which the voter contact dwo is opened. When the clock relay '1' is working, the delay relays V1 and V2 cannot drop out, since their delay is greater than the time during which contact eII is opened.
As can be seen, the pulse-generating selector D is switched from step to step by the pulsed interruption of the long-distance line. When step J is reached, the relay J is energized again via Tain, contact 3 of the selector path DI and the working armature contact, which in turn holds itself above iII. This has the consequence that the long-distance lines are interrupted in step 3 by opening il and iIII until the delay relay V2 drops out and disconnects relay J via!) / ". Within the pulse-like increment of the clock-generating selector D is a time interval predetermined size inserted.
At the end of this time interval, the armature contact is closed again, so that the clock relay T can work again. The same process is repeated when the voter has come to step 4 by step 10; because in both cases relay J is re-energized for a certain time via Ta. 4II or Ta. pI.
So far only the processes in the monitoring station have been dealt with; The result was that the current in the long-distance line was interrupted in pulses, with time intervals occurring at the 3rd, 4th and 10th pulse or dialer step. It will now be considered what effects this pulse sequence has in the operating location. As can be seen from FIG. 4, the relays E, Ze, V1 and V2, Ro and Zo are also present there, which are operated in the same circuit as those of the monitoring station. When the long-distance lines are interrupted by the first pulse, the intermediate relay Ze is excited via cl, which energizes the selector magnet D via zeIII and v2IIo.
Since the delay relays Vj and V2 cannot drop out when the long-distance line current is interrupted, the selector D in the operating station is switched one step further by each closed-circuit current pulse. As well as the voter the step. 3, but, as explained above, a time interval is inserted. This has the consequence that the delay relay V1 drops out in the operating center. The delay relay V2 cannot drop out because its delay is greater than the delay of V2 in the monitoring point.
When Vi has dropped (Fig. 5), the normally closed contact v, - "I is closed, so that the general switch-off relay AS (winding 1-2)

Since a time interval is again inserted at the fourth step of the selector, vu vos is closed again and the selection relay R4 (winding 1-. 5) applies voltage, which is in the-

all switches common switch-off relay AS prepared the switch-off of this switch. If the time interval had been inserted at contact 2 of selector D, the general switch-on relay would have been energized and thus the switch-on would have been prepared. The last time interval on the tenth step of the selector is also common for all switching processes. Namely, it checks the synchronous operation of the voter in the operating center.
If this voter ran correctly, he receives the time interval at the tenth step, so that the safety relay 8 can respond by dropping Fi via v1III, v2III and contact 10 of the voter path DI. That’s all

energized so that the latter goes from the on position to the off position at 8i. The contacts 8p and 8l1, which are located on the oil switch shaft, also change their position.
It should not initially be considered how the feedback process develops within the framework of the remote switching process, but it is initially assumed that the oil switch S 4 is due to

would have switched off automatically from overcurrent. The transmission of the feedback following a remote switching process will be explained later for a better understanding.
In the following description of the pure feedback, only FIGS. 4 and 5 come into question, unless otherwise specified. As can be seen, all in and out

the long-distance lines in the same way as was done when the remote control process was carried out in the monitoring station. The receiving relays E therefore drop out, so that now the clock-generating selector in the monitoring station and the selector in the operating station are switched to the first step.
Since the relay J was de-energized in the operating station due to the dropout of the delay relay V2

connected to the Voter DIII in the operating center. The Wäl1lerbahnon DII and DIII have the task of checking from contact to contact whether the respective connected switch is in the on or off position. If the switch is switched on, the switchover relay Ui is energized via the selector path DII and u / "; if it is switched off, the switchover relay U2 is energized via the selector pad DIII and the contact u1Io. The switchover relays U1 and U2 determine the polarity,
EMI4.3
that is, the polarity corresponding to the position of the connected switch is set in the long-distance line from contact to contact.
In the monitoring station, a polarized relay P is switched on in the long-distance line, which determines the polarity of the quiescent current after each dialing step. If the quiescent current is negative with respect to the pipeline La, i. H. If the switch that has just been reported is switched on, then the left changeover contact 1) applies voltage to the DII selector path in the monitoring station; if it is positive, then the selector path DIII is switched to the positive pole by the right changeover contact p.
From this it can be seen that all counters are reported with each voter circulation. The monitoring station itself then checks whether the incoming message corresponds to the previous status of the display relay or whether it is new. A change relay is assigned to each display relay, which only responds if the incoming message does not match the position of the display relay.
The indicator relay R4, which identifies the switching state of the switch 84, is designed so that it is in the switched-on position when it is pulled and when it is released

and R4 (2-3), the magnetic field in relay R4 is made to disappear, so that it drops out and thus marks the switch-off position of switch S4. However, this change in position of the display relay initially does not result in any display, since it has not yet been determined whether the voters ran synchronously during the entire cycle. Rather, this determination is made thereby. that the substation inserts a time interval after the last step, which must be received in the zero position of the selector of the monitoring station.
This time interval is inserted in the operating point (Fig. 5) that at the moment when the brush DI of the selector D in the

The circuit of the indicator lamps will now be described below. It is basically designed so that the entire circuit diagram is normally dark. Every change in position is indicated in the dark circuit diagram by the corresponding switch lamp lighting up.
If the circuit diagram is switched to light, the indicator lamp of the changed switch receives a flashing light so that the new status can also be distinguished from the previous one. The light and dark switching of the circuit diagram is brought about by actuating the lamp switch LS. The latter has three positions. In the middle position, the circuit diagram is dark: only change messages can then be displayed. In the left position all lamps in the circuit diagram are switched on, in the right position only the single lamps. The latter measure has the advantage that the circuit diagram is made clearer by eliminating the lights, which are more or less used for control purposes.
The feedback process was described above to such an extent that the change relay A4 picked up due to the automatic switch-off of switch S4 and the display relay R4 dropped out. If the lamp switch L8 is in the middle position, then the lamp switch contacts LS, LSV, LSVIII and the working contact of the monitoring relay sIll, the working side of the changeover contact a, the neutral side of the changeover contact f, the light La4 of the switch 84 are connected to voltage placed. If the lamp switch is now switched to the left, the contact LSV is opened and the changeover contacts LSIII and LSVI are switched.
On the one hand, this has the consequence that the flasher relay Bl is energized via LS, blII, which due to the capacitor Cbl connected in parallel and the resistor connected upstream of this parallel connection has response and dropout delay. Since it interrupts itself when responding by means of its normally closed contact MI, it will respond and drop out in a rhythm determined by the size of the capacitance and the upstream resistance. The contact BLINI will therefore open and close intermittently and supply flashing voltage to the y busbar via sIII,
EMI5.3
and the rail x is placed under calm tension.
In this case, for the sake of simplicity of illustration of the circuit, changes are not indicated by flashing lights in this position of the lamp switch. Of course, it can easily be achieved with the known means of visualization technology that in this case, too, all position changes, including off messages, are specially indicated by a flashing light.
In Fig. 3 the circuit is shown for the case that control acknowledgment switches are used instead of pushbuttons and lamps. The latter should consist of a rotary switch with contacts QAf
EMI5.4
This is indicated by the lamp lighting up when the position of the rotary switch handle does not match that of the indicator relay. The functions of the change relay A are replaced by the contacts QNPI and QMIII. Since this display circuit is equivalent to that shown in FIG. 1, further description is omitted. It should only be noted that the indicator relay for switch 7 is shown and therefore all elements have the index 7.
The same correspondence of the mode of operation is obtained when considering the remote switching process when using control acknowledgment switches, which is also shown in FIG. In this case, the rotary switch contact QMI, which is connected to contacts 2 and. 3 of the selector path DI, it is determined whether the switch is to be switched on or off, while the actual command triggering takes place via the contacts Q8I, 2SII and QSIII. Otherwise, the remote switching process takes place in exactly the same way as has already been described with reference to FIG.
<Desc / Clms Page number 6>
EMI6.1
plays in detail, the description of the remote switching process will now be supplemented with regard to the feedback.
It has already been explained that with the described remote switch-off of switch S4 at the contacts. 3, 4 and 10 of the voter track. DI (Fig. 2) time intervals were inserted, which resulted in the general switch-off relay in the operating station (Fig. 5). 1S, the selection relay R4 and the monitoring relay l S have been energized. As a result, the switch-on contact S / was switched over by the switching contact? - / "from the fourth contact of the selector path DIII
EMI6.2
After the safety relay S was energized on the tenth contact of the voter path DI, the. The switch-off magnet A of switch S4 is energized. The switch will then move to the off position. At contact 11 of the voter path DI it is now checked whether the switch has actually taken the desired position; because only then is the feedback already prepared on contact 4 correct and can be used for display.
If this check is positive, the control interval is inserted in the zero position of the brush of the selector path DI in the manner already described, so that the safety relay S in the monitoring station responds and displays the feedback that has been properly prepared in this case can. If the switch does not follow the command for any reason, the control time interval is suppressed and the incorrectly prepared feedback in this case does not come into effect. This object is achieved in terms of circuitry by the hold control relay SK (FIG. 5).
If the brush of the selector path DI reaches the eleventh contact, the drop-out delay relay SK is energized via asI "and the normally open contact rrIo of the preparation relay, if the switch contact SI is still in the setting position, ie the command has not been followed In this case, opening the normally closed contact sk prevents the interval relay J from being energized when the brush of the selector arm DI is in the zero position. If the switch has followed the command, the relay SK does not respond. The control interval is inserted and provides the correct feedback that has been prepared in the monitoring station see full ad.
The suppression of the control interval has the consequence that the
EMI6.3
this incentive can only be carried out a predetermined time after reaching the zero position of the voter.
If, as a result of the glitches that occur, the operator's voter is not kept in sync with the clock-generating voter, then it is transported to zero via its own self-interrupter after the pulse sequence of the clock generator has ended, after which the voter apparatus is also stimulated. The delay relay Va with the capacitor Ca connected in parallel is used for this purpose and is controlled in terms of pulses via zeI. So flows after the end

the selector magnet D (Fig. 4) to voltage, so that the selector D is inevitably brought into the zero position. At the same time, a previously determined polarity on the line is enforced via:. '/ "By exciting U1.
Finally, via v3Io, anI and the working side of the changeover contact roll, the winding 1-2 of the starting relay At is excited, which winds in the opposite direction as

also take place a certain time after reaching the zero position of the selector, namely when the delay relay Z has dropped out.
