Eisenbetonbalken.

Reinforced concrete beams.
The aim of the invention is to reduce the breakage of reinforced concrete structural members that are ready to be used at the point of use during transport. Reinforced concrete support beams, the iron inlays of which go through the entire length of the beam, are divided into two or more parts for this purpose by interrupting the concrete cross-section. At the points of interruption of the concrete body, joint-like parts are created by the continuous slack iron inlays. The interruptions in the concrete body are expediently used at the point of use for the formation of transverse ribs.
During transport, the interruption points are pressure-resistant with. easily removable bodies filled. for which the formwork can be left in them. The support members are supported on the building under the interruptions by formwork timbers, whereupon the concreting takes place in the usual way after the side formwork for the transverse ribs has been made.

The entire cross-section is interrupted b: not far from the supports are the holes for the suspension during transport and the subsequent passage of cables d. Fig. 2 of the drawing shows a longitudinal section of a beam with three interruptions b, two of which are filled with pressure-resistant, easily removable bodies c in order to save support during transport at these points.
