Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

  Drop-shaped aircraft wing with several transverse crevices one behind the other.

   There are drop-cut aircraft wings with several successive transverse gap passages are known, which from the underside on both sides of the depth center under constant curvature and narrowing backwards to the top of the z. B. lead as ailerons serving rear surface end pieces and open towards the rear. In the known aircraft wings of this type, if the gap tunnels are open with a small angle of attack of the wing, the lift C of the wing is known to be small and the drag 0 ″ of the wing is large. This disadvantage is avoided according to the invention by having all the transverse gap tunnels in one Above the head of the rear wing end piece or aileron, short and rearwardly narrowed collecting fissures open out.

   The tests carried out have shown that with this type of wing the lift and drag are the same as those of a normal wing, i.e. H. of a wing of the same shape, but without transverse crevices more closely.

   The drawing shows a schematic representation of an embodiment of the new aircraft wing. a, b, c are the wing parts separated from one another by the transverse crevices d, e, of which the rear wing end piece c is designed as an aileron and can be pivoted about the axis f into the angular position shown in broken lines. The transverse crevices lead in a known manner from the underside on both sides of the depth center with constant curvature and narrowing backwards to the top and, according to the invention, open into a short collecting crevice g located above the head of the aileron c, which still extends backwards towards the mouth i further narrowed.
