Explosion protection on bearings and lines for flammable liquids and gases.
The subject of the invention relates to an explosion protection on bearings and lines for flammable liquids and gases.
The invention consists in that the explosion protection is arranged on the per se known mandrel that it can be inserted or removed through the existing mouth of any housing or fitting by means of the mandrel designed as a lifting device.
An embodiment is expedient in which a spirally wound strip rests resiliently against the housing wall.
An embodiment in which the mandrel is designed as a hollow body is also expedient.
Several exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are illustrated schematically in the drawing.
In the exemplary embodiment in FIGS. 1-2, the fuse consists of a sheet-metal strip dz which is spirally wound around a mandrel (1) and provided with grooves (2) which, when rolled up, fills the cross-section of a fitting, for example a T-piece (4), so that narrow channels are formed over the entire cross-section, through which the liquid or the gases can flow through, but which prevent the penetration of a flame or ignition.
The metal strip, which is spirally wound around the mandrel, is firmly connected to the former, so that by turning the mandrel on the handle (5), the metal strip, under the action of the resilient grooves, rests closer to the mandrel, whereby the diameter of the wound metal strip becomes somewhat smaller and the lifting of the fuse from the housing for cleaning od. The like. Can be done with ease. In the excavated state, the sheet metal strip will roll up in a spiral, so that cleaning of any channel grooves that have been laid is easy to carry out.
EMI1.1
wavelike or zigzag, whereby the intensity of the explosion safety can be increased.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 3 and 4, the fuse consists of a number of disks dz fitted onto a tubular mandrel (6) and provided with radial grooves, which form radially extending channels connected to the inside of the tube.
The tubular mandrel (6) is designed in such a way that on the one hand it has a connecting device consisting of a thread or the like for the connecting piece (10) or for the connecting pipe (11), on the other hand it is connected to a closure cover (8) which during the establishment of the connection of the fuse with the connection piece (10) or with the pipe (11) the fuse housing (9) is blocked at the same time.
With the threaded nut (12), the channel disks (7) can either be pressed against one another or lifted out of the mandrel for possible cleaning.
