Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf Pinsel, Bürsten od. dgl., die mit einem Behälter für das Streichmittel durch einen absperrbaren Kanal verbunden sind, und besteht darin, dass das den Kanal absperrende Organ an der Kappe des Pinsels befestigt ist. Nach Aufsetzen der Kappe ist der-zufluss des Streichmittels gehindert und dadurch die Sicherheit gegeben, dass bei Nichtverwendung des Pinsels kein Verbrauch des Streichmittels stattfinden kann. Gegenüber bekannten Einrichtungen ergibt sich auch der Vorteil, dass eine Reinigung des Abschlussorgans leicht möglich ist.
Die Zeichnung veranschaulicht den Erfindungsgegenstand, und zwar zeigt Fig. 1 eine Seitenansicht eines Pinsels mit aufgesetzter Kappe, Fig. 2 den Pinsel bei abgehobener Kappe, Fig. 3 eine Draufsicht der Fig. 2 bei abgenommenem Pinsel, Fig. 4 einen Schnitt nach der Linie Z-Z der Fig. 3, Fig. 5 und 6 eine andere Ausführungsform des Erfindungsgegenstandes in Seitenansicht und im Schnitt. a ist ein Rohl aus biegsamem Material ; als solches wird vorzugsweise eine weiche Metalllegierung aus Zinn und Blei verwendet. Derartige Rohre sind als Behälter für Pasten bereits bekannt. Das Ende des Rohres wird nach Füllung zu einem Falz al geformt, der eine hinreichende Sicherheit gegen den Austritt der Flüssigkeit b aus dem Rohr a bietet.
Am oberen Ende ist das Rohr mit einem ringförmigen Teil c versehen, der einen Ringkanal c1 zur Aufnahme des Pinsels d oder eines anderen aufsaugungsfähigen Mittels auf weist. Das absorbierende Mittel kann verschiedenster Art sein und wird je nach Art der Flüssigkeit b im Rohr a gewählt.
Der äussere Ringflansch C2 des Ringkanals kann nach innen umgebördelt werden. um die Haare des Pinsels d zwischen diesem Flansch und dem inneren Ringflansch c3 festzuhalten. In der Mitte des Kopfteiles c ist ein Kanal e angeordnet, welcher den Innenraum des Rohres a mit dem. Pinsel d verbindet. Dieser Kanal ist durch eine Stange f absperrbar, die an ihrem unteren Teil mit einem Schraubengewinde f1 versehen und in ein gleichartiges Gewinde im Teil c3 einschraubbar ist. Die Stange f ist an einer Kappe 9 befestigt, die an ihrer Aussenfläche eine gerändelte Leisteg1aufweist.
