to facilitate and to prevent that the pipe through the to the fixed, even when working quickly
Clamping and holding the necessary pressure could lose its round shape, according to the invention as
Holding member for the pipe used a fabric tape guided over rollers, whereby by moving at least one of the rollers the angle of wrap of the tape is increased when pulling off the pipe in order to press the fabric web onto a larger part of the circumference of the pipe.
In the drawing, an embodiment of the pre-clearing is shown schematically. In the device shown, a roller 2, to which one end of a fabric web 3 is attached, is rotatably arranged on a frame 1. The latter is guided over rollers 4, 5 and 6, of which the
Roller 4 is rotatably mounted in the ends of arms 7, which are arranged pivotably on an axis 17 of the frame 1. On the arms 7 engages the piston rod of your compressed air cylinder 9, which means
Pin 11 is rotatably arranged on frame 1. Compressed air inlets and outlets are connected to the cylinder 9 and are in communication with a control device 12 that can be operated by hand.
The fabric web 3 is attached to the roller 6. The latter sits in bearings 13, which on the frame 1 by means
Screw spindle 14 are arranged displaceably.
The tube R with the winding mandrel <S 'is, as shown in the drawing, inserted into a loop 15 of the fabric web 3, which is covered at this point in a known manner with strips 16 of wood, etc., which have fine tips , with leather etc. or the like. Against the scope of the still plastic
Asbestos cement pipe R are pressed. The pressing of these organs 16 is done by adjusting the
Roller 4 by means of the piston rod using compressed air, the pressure can be selected as large as desired. In this case, the pipe R is gripped by the clamping members 16 almost over its entire circumference with the same high pressure everywhere. These hold the pipe R so tight that the mandrel S can be pulled out without the pipe being deformed even when working quickly.
By adjusting the bearings 13, the loop 15 can be made larger or smaller and thereby adapted to the diameter of the tube R to be withdrawn from the mandrel S. The roller 4 is given some play in its bearings in the arms 7 so that the pipe R can be gripped evenly over its entire length.
Instead of using compressed air, the roller 4 could also be adjusted using pressurized water, in which case means can be provided to regulate the pressure.
