Description

Inclination balance with pan parts of the cutting edge bearing for the pendulum weight, which can be rotated.

The subject of the invention is an inclination scale in which the bridge load acts on two members, which come into effect independently of one another in such a way that only one operates the pendulum weight of the scale connected to the display device, while the other operates the one under the influence of a special balancing force The socket part of the cutting edge bearing for the pendulum weight is twisted.

In this scale, part of the train caused by the bridge load is used to
 EMI1.1
The amount to be twisted is how this turns itself under the influence of the load, so that the relative movement of the cutting edge in its socket becomes very small. This creates the possibility of setting the deflection angle of the pendulum selected with the greatest sensitivity to more than double the
 EMI1.2
becomes very small in its bearings, the cutting edge is loaded almost entirely under pressure, while the otherwise not insignificant friction work when moving the cutting edges and the associated wear and tear of the same are almost completely eliminated.

The sensitivity and durability of a balance constructed in this way will therefore be significantly greater than that of a conventional inclination balance.

The weighing apparatus consists of the shaft 1, which is well supported on both sides (ball bearing) and the knife edge bearings (pans) for the bar axle. 9 träa: t. The center of shaft 1 lies in the cutting edge
 EMI1.3
and that both have the same deflection angle; if one does not take into account the friction, which will naturally be greater with shaft 1 than with the axle of the Balked-5.

The transfer of the deflection to the display element of the balance takes place only from the bar. 5, while the component of the bridge branch associated with the shaft 1 has the purpose of causing a synchronous movement of the cutting edge bearings with respect to the beam movement and thereby the relative movement
 EMI1.4
Instead of the pendulum weight 3, the component of the load could also be brought about by appropriately dimensioned springs.
