   Den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildet eine Muschel für Fernhörer od. dgl., die aus einer in die entsprechende Form gepressten oder gedrückten Platte mit umgebördelte Aussenrand besteht. Gemäss der Erfindung ist an dem Aussenrand der Platte eine zweckmässig ringförmige, die Verbindung mit dem Magnetsystem herstellende Scheibe od. dgl. befestigt. Eine Muschel dieser Art besitzt den Vorteil geringen
Gewichtes und die Möglichkeit ist geboten, das Magnetsystem unmittelbar an der Muschel bzw. deren
Scheibe zu befestigen, so dass die Muschel als Träger des Magnetsystems nutzbar gemacht werden kann. 



   Ein   erfindungsgemässes   Ausführungsbeispiel ist auf der Zeichnung in Fig. 1 in Unteransicht und in Fig. 2 im Schnitt dargestellt. 



   Die Muschel besteht aus einer aus dünnem und steifem Isoliermaterial verfertigten Platte 1 und einer mit deren Rand verbundenen ringförmigen Scheibe 2 und wird auf folgende Weise hergestellt :
Eine Platte der vorstehend angeführten Eigenschaften wird zuerst ausgestanzt, hierauf erwärmt und in die äussere Form der Muschel gepresst oder gedrückt. Nun wird der Rand 3 der Platte 1 im warmen
Zustand nach einwärts umgebördelt und in eine am Umfang der ringförmigen Scheibe 2 vorgesehene
Nut eingedrückt, wodurch eine innige Verbindung zwischen der Scheibe 2 und der Platte 1 gewährleistet ist. 



   Die Platte besteht aus Zelluloid oder einem ändern Isoliermaterial oder aus einem dünnen und steifen Material, das mit einem Isolierüberzug versehen ist. 



   PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE :
1. Muschel für Fernhörer od. dgl., die aus einer in die entsprechende Form gepressten oder gedrückten Platte mit umgebördeltem Aussenrand besteht, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass an letzterem eine   zweckmässig   ringförmige, die Verbindung mit dem Magnetsystem   herstellende   Scheibe od. dgl. befestigt ist.
