 EMI1.1
 möglich ist.

  Rotor for asynchronous machines.

If you want to switch to larger diameters in the manufacture of rotors for asynchronous machines, you can no longer use the previously used full sheet metal disks from which the rotor is assembled, since the width of the metal sheets from which the disks are punched is limited. One could now think of using segments instead of the full discs. However, this aid is not sufficient either, since a shaft of large diameter is required to fasten the sheet metal segments, into which the segments with dovetail tails must be inserted. However, shafts with a large diameter are very difficult to manufacture for high peripheral speeds.

According to the invention, these inconveniences are avoided in that the rotor is formed by a hollow core made of solid material, on the circumference of which peeled teeth are used.

Stub shafts are expediently flanged to the hollow body.

An exemplary embodiment is illustrated in the drawing. In it, k means the hollow core
 EMI1.1
 is possible.
