Attachment of loop poles to pole wheels of internal pole machines.
In machines with revolving poles, in which the poles are highly stressed by centrifugal forces, the secure and, at the same time, simple attachment of the poles to their supporting bodies makes great difficulties. According to the invention, these difficulties are to be overcome in that the poles are designed like a comb at the inner end of their legs and are inserted into grooves arranged next to one another in the axial direction on the support body perpendicular to the axis and perpendicular to the machine axis. The grooves are advantageously screwed into the support body. The poles are held in the grooves by fastening means which penetrate the support body.
It has already been proposed to line up on the shaft of a pole wheel plates which have alternately different diameters and to introduce poles with toothed inner ends into the gaps thus formed on the circumference of the body composed of the plates. However, this type of fastening is considerably more complicated than that given by the invention. In addition, the last-mentioned type of fastening allows the transition to machines that run considerably faster than machines with the known type of fastening, without, for example, damaging the strength of the assembly of the pole wheel parts.
The diameter of the machine can also be significantly reduced by the new type of fastening, so that machines with this type of fastening are much smaller for the same performance than the machines that have become known.
An embodiment of the invention is illustrated in the drawing. This shows a pole wheel with a shaft w with a thickening v into which grooves ri, fg, fs,, g are screwed according to the invention. It also shows a pole p which is composed of sheet metal layers b1-bg, of which the layers b1, b3, b5, b7 and b9 have an inner diameter which corresponds to the inner diameter of the grooves, while the sheets b2, b4, b6 and bs have a diameter which corresponds to the outside diameter of the thickening v. The pole thus forms a comb with teeth Zl at its inner end,

are connected. This arrangement achieves an extremely secure and easy-to-manufacture pole attachment.
Instead of individual sheets, the pole parts b1-bg can also be made from plates.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Attachment of salient poles to pole wheels of internal pole machines, characterized in that the poles sit with a comb-like inner end of their legs in a support body made of one piece and provided with grooves perpendicular to the axis, in the axial direction adjacent to one another, whereby they sit through this body penetrating fasteners are held.
