Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Hals-und Sehulterschwimmring. Der Schwimmring ist in der Zeichnung beispielsweise dargestellt. Fig. 1 zeigt seine schematische Darstellung. Fig. 2 eine weitere Ausführungsform.
Der Schwimmring besteht aus einer festen, nicht dehnbaren Hülle a (Fig. 1), die um den Hals und die Schulter des Schwimmenden gelegt wird, sowie aus einem Luftsack b, der im Ruhestand zusammen- gefaltet in der Hülle a liegt. Der Luftsack b besitzt ein Aufblasventil, das zweckmässig mit einem bekannten Rüekschlagkörper versehen ist. Bei dem Aufblasen des Luftsacks tritt dieser aus seiner Hülle nach unten heraus und presst sich an den Körper des Schwimmenden. Um ein Ausweichen des Luftsacks im Wasser nach oben zu verhindern, ist dieser mit seinem unteren Rande am Körper des Schwimmenden zu befestigen.
Die Art dieser Befestigung ist ebenfalls wie das Aufblasventil für die Erfindung unwesentlich, die Befestigung selbst kann gegebenenfalls auch vor dem Aufblasen des Lnftsackes erfolgen.
Nach der zweiten Ausführungsform (Fig. 2) soll die nicht dehnbare Hülle des Ringes, ohne Unbequemlichkeiten zu verursachen, dem Körper des Schwimmenden angepasst sein, sei es durch Ausbildung der Hülle aals Steh- oder Umlegekragen oder als einfacher Ringkragen oder als sogenannter Schillerkragen. Dabei wird die Form zweckmässig so gewählt, dass zwischen dem Halskragen a und dem aufblasbaren Luftsaek b ein schmales festes Bindeglied als Zwischenwand c angeordnet wird. Zum unauffälligen Tragen über oder unter der Kleidung, wird der Schwimmring so ausgebildet, dass die Formgebung der einzelnen Teile des Schwimmringes sieh nicht nur dem Körper, sondern auch dem Schwimm-und Badeanzug anpasst, wobei vorgesehen ist, dass sowohl der Luftsack b wie der Kragen a untereinander als auch beide Elemente mit dem Badeanzug auswechselbar verbunden sein können. Auf der Vorderseite kann zweckmässig der Schwimmring zur Aufnahme einer Schleife, Krawatte od. dgl. ausgebildet sein.
Der Schwil11mring nach der Erfindung besitzt bei genügender Tragfähigkeit die Eigenschaft, dass der Kopf des Schwimmenden niemals unter Wasser kommen kann und der Schwimmende selbst im Wasser unbehindert ist und nicht taumeln oder kippen kann.

The invention relates to a neck and shoulder swim ring. The floating ring is shown in the drawing, for example. Fig. 1 shows its schematic representation. Fig. 2 shows another embodiment.
The swim ring consists of a firm, non-stretchable cover a (FIG. 1), which is placed around the neck and shoulder of the swimmer, and an air bag b, which is folded up in the cover a when it is not in use. The airbag b has an inflation valve which is expediently provided with a known non-return body. When the airbag is inflated, it comes out of its envelope and presses itself against the body of the swimmer. In order to prevent the airbag from swerving upwards in the water, the lower edge of the airbag must be attached to the swimmer's body.
The type of attachment, like the inflation valve, is not essential for the invention; the attachment itself can, if necessary, also take place before the airbag is inflated.
According to the second embodiment (Fig. 2) the non-stretchable cover of the ring should be adapted to the swimmer's body without causing discomfort, be it by designing the cover as a stand-up or turn-down collar or as a simple ring collar or as a so-called shimmer collar. The shape is expediently chosen so that a narrow, fixed link is arranged as a partition c between the neck collar a and the inflatable air bag b.
