Stoffhandschuh mit längsseitig flacher Nahtverbindung.
Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Nahtverbindung am Stoffhandschuh, die besonders bei Lederimitation zur Anwendung kommt. Der Lederhandschuh hat die Eigenschaft, dass er ausser Gebrauch eben gelegt ein flaches Stück darstellt. Insbesondere ist die längsseitige, also die dem Daumen gegenüberliegende Grenze flach und liegt glatt und eben auf. Beim Stoffhandschuh ist dies nicht der Fall, weil an der längsseitigen Grenze die Stoffkanten beide nach innen umgebrochen und im Innern zusammengenäht sind. Wohl sind auch Stoffhandschuhe derart hergestellt worden, dass die längsseitigen Kanten flach'aufeinandergelegt zusammengenäht wurden. Dabei zeigt sich aber der Übelstand, dass diese freien Stoffkanten Schnittflächen sind und deshalb ausfransen.
Der auf der Zeichnung in Fig. 1 im Querschnitt ohne Passepoil, in Fig. 2 im Querschnitt mit Passepoil dargestellte Stoffhandschuh hat an der längsseitigen Grenze eine Nahtverbindung, die dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass der untere Handschuhstoffteil mit freier Schnittkante 1 ausläuft, während der obere Stoffhandsehuhteil, nach innen gebrochen, so auf dem unteren Teil angeordnet ist, dass die Bruchkante 2 die Schnittkante 1 überragt, letztere also verdeckt wird. Die Verbindung ist durch eine durchgehende Naht 3 hergestellt. Durch dieses Zusammenfassen ergibt sich eine flache Grenze an der Längsseite des Stoffhandschuhes, die derjenigen am Lederhandschuh ähnlich ist. Beim Vernähen ist es gleich, ob man die Kanten des Ober-und Unterteiles nur durch die Naht 3 verbindet oder sie vorher noch besonders zusammennäht.
Die Wirkung wird noch erhöht, wenn der Oberteil des Stoffes noch ein feines Passepoil 4 erhält.
PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE :
1. Stoffhandschuh, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Verbindung an der längsseitigen Naht derart durchgeführt ist, dass der Stoffoberteil mit seiner umgebrochenen Kante (2) auf der Schnittkante (1) des Stoffunterteiles liegt und beide mittels einer durchgehenden Naht (3) verbunden sind.

This is not the case with the fabric glove, because at the longitudinal border the fabric edges are both folded inwards and sewn together on the inside. Cloth gloves have also been manufactured in such a way that the longitudinal edges are sewn together laid flat on top of one another. However, this shows the disadvantage that these free fabric edges are cut surfaces and therefore fray.
