Cuff for gauntlet gloves.
Removable gauntlets for gauntlets are usually cut as relatively long conical sockets, the narrower edge of which lies inside or outside the edge of the glove socket and is connected to it by means of special fastening means. This cuff forms an extension of the glove that surrounds the wrist and rests around the forearm with fastening means that are visible from the outside and that look unattractive and stand in the way.
There are also gauntlets in which the gauntlet is permanently connected to the glove socket in the form of a strip, so that both parts can only be used and cleaned together.
In contrast, the invention relates to a removable cuff for gauntlet gloves, which consists of a long and narrow pocket corresponding to the width of the glove socket that is laid flat, which receives the end of the glove socket and is turned over with it, which results in an easily detachable connection between both parts, namely then when the glove

carries means that can interact with the parts of the glove fasteners used that are arranged on the glove socket.
1 and 2 of the drawing show an embodiment of a cuff in the internal view and in cross-section, and Fig. 3 shows the end of a glove with attached, not yet folded cuff.
The faceplate 1 has the shape of a pocket with the opening: 2 on the lower longitudinal side, corresponding to the width 9 of the flattened glove socket 3, but also narrow. This faceplate is provided with such means for its detachable attachment to the glove socket. 2 that it can be buttoned into the button and buttonhole attached to the glove and used to close it.
For this purpose, on the faceplate 1, u. between one end, a button 4 and a buttonhole 5 at the other end. The button 4 is attached to the inside of the outer, arbitrarily decorated part l 'and the buttonhole 5 is attached to the inner part j! ". When the cuff is connected to the glove, the flattened glove socket 3 is inserted into the pocket and the button 4 of the cuff in the usual buttonhole 6 of the glove, on the other hand buttonhole 5 of the cuff buttoned into the usual button 7 of the glove. To achieve a better hold of the cuff, its part j! " a buttonhole 8 coinciding with button 4,
into which this button is buttoned after passing the glove buttonhole 6 (which coincides with the buttonhole 8 in FIG. 3). The faceplate is folded down from the position shown in FIG. 3 by rotating it 180 forwards onto the glove 3, in which position the fastening is not visible from the outside.
