Abstract

Un dispositivo de control para un sistema de propulsión de una embarcación, que puede sostener una navegación segura de la embarcación mientras reduce la carga del timonel, ejecutando un control de navegación automática sobre la embarcación cuando la embarcación entra o se acerca a un área de agua específica donde la navegación esta limitada. Al determinar que un casco 10 permanece dentro del área de agua específica en un estado donde una velocidad de revolución y una dirección de rotación de una hélice 27 y una postura de un motor fuera borda 20 se controlan sobre la base de una señal ingresada desde un dispositivo de control (un controlador de cambio y acelerador 34, un dispositivo de dirección 35 y un interruptor de compensación 36), una ECU 21 del motor fuera borda 20 cambia la navegación del casco 10 a una navegación automática donde la velocidad de revolución y la dirección de rotación de la hélice 27 y la postura del motor fuera borda 20 se controlan sin la intervención del dispositivo de control.
