Abstract

En la presente se proporcionan microorganismos eucariotas con un perfil lipídico simple, que comprenden ácidos grasos de cadena larga (LCFA). También se proporcionan composiciones y cultivos que comprenden los microorganismos eucariotas, así como métodos para utilizar los microorganismos eucariotas. Reivindicación 1: Un cultivo que comprende (a) un microorganismo eucariota que produce lípidos con una secuencia de 18S, en la que la secuencia de 18S tiene al menos 98% de identidad con respecto a la secuencia indicada en la SEC ID Nº 1 y (b) un medio heterotrófico que genera el microorganismo eucariota de producción de lípidos con un perfil lipídico simple que comprende ácidos grasos de cadena larga (LCFA).
