Abstract
En un proceso para la epoxidación de una olefina con peróxido de hidrógeno en presencia de un solvente, en el cual se hace pasar en forma continua una mezcla que comprende olefina, una solución acuosa de peróxido de hidrógeno y un solvente a través de un lecho fijo de un catalizador de epoxidación que comprende una zeolita de titanio, adición de un agente quelante a la solución acuosa de peróxido de hidrógeno antes de mezclarla con solvente reduce o evita la formación de depósitos en el catalizador y el bloqueo de los orificios de un distribuidor de líquido.
