Abstract

Una mezcla de óxido de alquileno que contiene más del 50% en peso de óxido de alquileno se polimeriza en forma continua en presencia de un catalizador de polimerización de cianuro de metal doble y ciertos compuestos magnesio, el compuesto de la serie lantanida o metal del Grupo 3 - Grupo 15. La presencia del compuesto magnesio, el compuesto de la serie lantanida o metal del Grupo 3 - Grupo 15 permite que la polimerización se realice en forma continua sin la desactivación prematura del catalizador de cianuro de metal doble.
